Paju beer pub pizza date: Long Time No See Yadang Branch

In short

Long Time No See Yadang Branch is a pizza-focused beer pub near Yadang Station in Paju, Gyeonggi. I self-poured drinks with a wristband and had tomato spinach and herb garlic potato half-and-half pizza with spicy hangover pasta by the open second-floor window. Verdict: a lovely stop for drinks, a second round, or a date.

This is Long Time No See Yadang Branch, a pizza-and-beer favorite in Yadang, Paju that I love so much I’m on my nth visit! When you think of Paju, Yadang Station has the most bars, right!? Among them, this is such a nice, atmospheric place to have a beer. It is great for a first round, of course, but I also highly recommend it for a second round or a date thanks to all the finger foods.

A pizza-and-beer spot I keep returning to near Yadang Station

Yadang Station has so many great places to eat! Still, there are a few places I always make sure to visit or recommend when someone comes to Paju, and Long Time No See Yadang Branch is one of them. The atmosphere, taste, and value are all so satisfying that it is one of my absolute favorites—I go about once every two months.

A return visit to Long Time No See Yadang Branch

First of all, it is right on the main street, less than a five-minute walk from Yadang Station! The parking lot is spacious too, so building parking is easy. Long Time No See is on the second floor. They open all the windows, which makes it feel wonderfully open; with the weather being cool lately, it has that refreshing outdoor-bar feeling. I do not like the cigarette smoke at ground-floor outdoor bars, so this was especially nice and comfortable.

A beer system where you pour as much as you want

Taste matters when you eat and drink, but this is also a beer pub where you get that extra fun of doing it yourself! There are different beers, ales and lagers, from soju to sparkling water. You tag the wristband they give you, then pour exactly the amount you want. It is fun picking out your own drink too, haha.

Ordering half-and-half pizza and spicy hangover pasta

There is a varied menu and lots of events too. Whenever I come, I tend to order half-and-half pizza plus pasta. This time, I ordered a half-and-half pizza with tomato spinach pizza and herb garlic potato pizza, along with spicy hangover pasta.

Warm popcorn and the self-serve bar

The complimentary snack is popcorn, and they say you can refill it as much as you want at the self-serve bar. Since it keeps popping, it is warm and delicious, which I loved. Beer and popcorn are a dream pairing, right? So good!

You can grab a chilled glass from the fridge, and the used glasses are continuously washed hygienically for reuse, which was great too, haha. Small plates, spoons, forks, knives, and more are all at the self-serve bar!

Refreshing DIY ade for non-drinkers

What I liked most was the ade that even my sister, who cannot drink alcohol, could enjoy! Before adding sparkling water, add your preferred ade syrup, put in ice from the self-serve bar, then add the sparkling water—and your cool, refreshing ade is done!

Making ade with syrup and sparkling water

Last time, I added soju to the sparkling water here, and it was seriously delicious, lol. There are so many kinds of beer that people who enjoy drinking will love it. It is especially great for a date too: the indoor atmosphere is calm, the lighting is lovely, and getting to choose your own drinks like this is so much fun! ★

When you tap in and pour your chosen drink, the volume and price appear right away, haha. Each table gets one wristband, and when it is time to pay, you hand it over to settle the drinks along with everything else at once, which is so convenient! ♪

Half-and-half pizza with chewy dough

Add a cheese crust to the pizza dough! The chewy dough and fragrant cheese, as expected—ugh. It does not feel like ordinary bar-snack pizza at all. The freshly baked, warm dough is really springy, and the cheesy aroma is so good. The spinach pizza is especially fresh, so it is one of my favorite menu items.

Half-and-half pizza with added cheese crust

Thick cheese, cool beer, and a gentle breeze while watching people in Yadang Station’s busy area from the second-floor window—it felt so nice, haha. And if you like spicy food, I really recommend trying the spicy pasta. It is seriously, seriously delicious, haha.

It is a beer spot among Yadang Station’s good restaurants that I can confidently recommend. I would love to recommend it to anyone looking for a Yadang Station bar for a first or second round.
