Wando island stay for sunrise views: Cheongsando Travel Pension

I wanted a proper healing break this vacation, so I went to Cheongsando in Wando! Let me introduce Cheongsando Travel Pension, a place that was great for catching the sunrise and getting plenty of rest on Cheongsando ^0^ Ta-da!

From Wando Passenger Ferry Terminal to Cheongsando Travel Pension

Bbang took the 1 p.m. ferry from Wando Passenger Ferry Terminal and got off at around 1:50 p.m.~! After getting off, I had a bowl of mulhoe (cold raw fish soup) at a nearby restaurant, then did a light shop at Hanaro Mart for dinner and headed over~^^

Wando local buses are free to use~! You can use them for free even if you're not from Wando~! I got on the bus at the right time~~! The bus stop in front of Hanaro Mart had air conditioning, so it was nice and cool! Haha

I got off the bus at the Sinheung-ri stop and headed to the pension~! Haha

Isn't the pension so pretty? Haha I booked ahead before visiting. If, like me, you come without a car and find it difficult to get there by bus, they said they can help if you contact the pension after 3 p.m.!

I took this at check-in; at around 3:40 p.m., the water at Sinheung Beach had completely gone out, so click~!

An evening in loft-style Room 102

I booked Room 102.

Apparently actor Choi Daniel stayed in Room 102, where I stayed~! Haha Since it was a place an actor had stayed, there was even a signature!

I think it would be good to check the notices! All rooms are non-smoking, so I loved how fresh the inside felt~ Smoking is allowed on the terrace in front of the room. A private barbecue is ₩20,000 per room including charcoal and grill, with ₩10,000 added per extra person! They also sell abalone porridge for meals~! Haha

The kitchen was kept incredibly clean~! The dishes were neatly organized, and even the rice cooker was clean, so I cooked rice for dinner too~^^

Because I have a lot of personal schedules, I stay at lots of different places~! I was so pleased that there was a bidet. Haha The bathroom water pressure was strong too, so I was very satisfied!

I ate dinner at the table~! And got some personal work done too. Haha The bed mattress was so soft that I slept like a baby!! Haha

There was also a refrigerator and microwave, so I used them comfortably!

Since it has a loft, I think it would be nice for one person to stay on the first floor and another in the loft~! The bed was so soft that I slept in the first-floor bed! Haha

A walk on Sinheung Beach and the Cheongsando sunrise

After unpacking, off to Sinheung Beach~! The sea is pretty, right? Haha I dipped my feet in the water and took a photo too. Haha The water is incredibly clear!

I didn't catch these, but other people visiting here were catching clams~ Haha If you're traveling as a family, I think it would be nice to try catching clams too! After a light walk, back to the accommodation~!!

Cheongsando in Wando was designated Asia's first Slow City~! That makes it absolutely perfect for healing!

Lying in bed, I watched the currently popular show Field Mouse on Netflix. Haha I had watched up to episode 8, then finished the rest through episode 10~! Haha I usually watch on my phone, but watching Netflix on the TV was much more comfortable. Haha

The pension is really great for seeing the sunrise~! It's so nice because you can sit on the terrace and see it right away. Since it was morning, I went for a little walk and watched it!

Pre-ordered abalone porridge breakfast

Bbang ordered abalone porridge for breakfast~! Breakfast is available for an extra charge, and you can have it if you order in advance~! Haha Doesn't the abalone porridge look delicious? Haha

When you think of Wando, isn't it abalone? Haha I had abalone mulhoe at the harbor the day before, so today it was abalone porridge!

I loved that the abalone went straight into Bbang's mouth in one big swoop! Haha

Bbang ate well and took a Bbang-signature photo (Bbang's selfie)! Haha

They say actor Han Sang-jin stayed in Room 101, actor Choi Daniel in Room 102, and actor Kang Eun-tak in Room 106! Haha

BMI 29 Bbang had a satisfying stay at Cheongsando Travel Pension! The accommodation was well maintained and pleasant, so I felt so good in the morning! Haha The pension has a small shop where you can buy coffee (Americano or instant mix), water, and drinks~! Hanaro Mart and convenience stores are at the harbor, so I think you can shop there before coming over! There are lots of cars and restaurants at the harbor.

However, Cheongsando Travel Pension is about 6 km from the harbor and around a 15-minute bus ride away, so there are no restaurants nearby if you don't have a car. Still, I loved how peaceful it was. I was so satisfied because I could fully experience Cheongsando~~! I had such a satisfying stay that I should come back next time~^^ The staff were also kind and helpful, so I was very satisfied ♥
