I was walking through a Yeonnam-dong alley when a cute character sign completely stole my heart and pulled me right in!
I visited Katsu Monster Yeonnam (๑˙ꄃ˙๑)♡⃛ I genuinely love Japanese-style pork cutlet and chase down every spot that gets talked about, and this time I found a proper new hangout.

Katsu Monster Yeonnam Main Branch is easy to find: come out Exit 3 of Hongik University Station and head into the alley toward the Yeonnam Humansia apartments. Walk slowly along the charming little alley and it shows up in no time — really not hard to find at all.
They said takeout comes packaged neatly too, so it looks great for enjoying at home as well.

I picked the special limited cut, sangloin katsu! It's loin mixed with just the right amount of gabrisal, so it's stunning even just to look at. The coating is crisp and the inside is juicy.
The moment I took a bite, savory juices burst all through my mouth. Add in the softness of the gabrisal, and the melt-in-your-mouth texture was just art.
