Korean BBQ in Baegot, Siheung for crispy black pork skin: Hamdon
In short
Hamdon Baegot is a Korean BBQ restaurant in the Baegot area of Siheung, Gyeonggi, where staff grill 504-hour aged pork from start to finish. On a weekend evening we ordered one portion of galmaegisal (pork skirt meat), three portions of ogyeopsal (five-layer pork belly) and one portion of thick black pork skin, served with minari (water dropwort) and bone soup as side dishes, and the pork skin was crisp outside and chewy inside. Hamdon Baegot is worth booking if grilling your own meat feels like a hassle or you need a group dinner spot in Baegot.

On a weekend evening, craving some good meat, I visited Hamdon Baegot.
This place uses pork aged for a whopping 504 hours, so you can really taste the juiciness and flavor — a Baegot restaurant worth knowing about. Especially since staff grill the meat from start to finish, it was a Baegot Korean BBQ spot where you could just relax and eat.👍🏻

Where is Hamdon Baegot and what are its hours?
Hamdon Baegot is located at 7 Seoulaehak-ro 264beon-gil, 1F B-140, Siheung-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. It's open daily from 11:30 to 23:00, with last order at 22:30.

We visited on a weekend evening, and true to its reputation as a popular Baegot BBQ restaurant, the place was almost completely full. There was a waiting area near the entrance, and off to one side you could see the fridge where the meat is aged. Seeing that aged meat in person before eating really built up the anticipation.

Even with the crowd, the interior was kept clean overall, and the tables were spaced comfortably enough to eat. Beyond a weekend dinner, I thought this would also work well as a Baegot gathering spot or a Baegot group dinner place for several people.🙂

Hamdon Baegot menu and prices
Hamdon has a variety of aged pork menu items.
Hamdon Snowflake Special ₩63,000
Limited to 10 plates a day, this set combines snowflake cut, sirloin cap, special cut, pork belly, and thick pork skin, so you can taste several parts at once.✨
There were also options like
- 504-hour aged special cut 160g ₩17,000
- Cross-aged pork belly 160g ₩17,000
- Raw galmaegisal (skirt meat) 130g ₩17,000

- 2++ Hanwoo grilled brisket 150g ₩28,000
- Minari yukhoe (raw beef with water dropwort) 150g ₩21,000
among others.
That day, we ordered galmaegisal for one, pork belly for three, and pork skin for one.

The side dishes and bone soup at Hamdon Baegot
Side dishes quietly matter a lot at a BBQ restaurant, and Hamdon's spread was pretty generous. There was scallion salad, shiitake mushrooms with wasabi sauce, white kimchi, stuffed kimchi, garlic, and peppers, plus minari (water dropwort) as a basic side. Minari was especially fragrant and delicious on its own, and dipped lightly in vinegar-chili sauce and wrapped around the meat like a minari ssam, it went really well together.

And the basic soup that came out was bone soup, which was better than expected.👍🏻 You could warm it up on the induction burner at the table, so it was nice to take a spoonful in between bites of meat, and the meat in the soup was tender.

Wrap vegetables are served fresh, so they need to be ordered separately. There were also a variety of sauces to go with the meat: garlic oil sauce, Maldon salt,

Staff grill every cut from start to finish
The part I liked most about Hamdon! Staff grill the meat themselves, from start to finish.

At some BBQ places it's hard to focus on conversation because you're busy grilling, but here, staff watched the meat and grilled it for us, which was really convenient. From galmaegisal to pork belly, everything was grilled to just the right point, and they even told us which sauce paired best with each cut, so we could enjoy it even more.

Is the thick black pork skin worth ordering?
And the thick black pork skin was better than expected! Unlike the thin pork skin you usually picture, it was truly thick, just as the name says. Staff grilled it to a golden brown, and it had a great texture — crisp on the outside while staying chewy on the inside. If you like pork skin, this is a menu item worth trying at least once at a Baegot BBQ restaurant.

Which sauces we ate the galmaegisal and pork belly with
I dipped the galmaegisal in garlic oil sauce, and its nutty yet clean flavor was a great match. For the thick-cut pork belly, I dipped it lightly in Maldon salt. Maybe because the meat was aged for 504 hours, I could really feel the juiciness and rich flavor when I chewed, so it was delicious with just salt.
Hamdon Baegot as a group dinner spot in Baegot
Hamdon Baegot was full of customers even on a weekend evening.
The 504-hour aged meat, generous side dishes, the bone soup you could keep warm at the table, and above all, the service of having staff grill the meat for you — it was all satisfying.
It's a good place to eat comfortably with friends or family, and I'd also recommend it to anyone looking for a Baegot gathering spot or Baegot group dinner venue for several people.
Especially if grilling meat yourself feels like a hassle, or if you love aged meat, it might be worth visiting this Baegot restaurant, Hamdon.
If you're also looking for a Baegot lunch spot, keep this in mind — and for dinner, I'd recommend it as a Baegot pork belly restaurant and Baegot BBQ spot for a proper meal with delicious meat. 🥩✨
