Cat café in Ansan with Hong Kong waffles: Nyanya

I was hanging out with a friend near Gojan Station when we heard there were special desserts, so we ran straight over 🫢 “Nyanya ☕️🧇”! And I heard there were even two resident cats!! No hesitation—straight there!!

Most importantly, parking had to be easy since I was with my pregnant friend 🚘 Nyanya has basement parking in the building, which was just perfect ><💨

Take the elevator to the fifth floor and there it is—“Nyanya.” From the entrance, it’s giving all the cozy aesthetic-café vibes.

And the notice posted at the entrance, hahaha. It says two fierce beasts live here, so beware of heart-fluttering cuteness 🐱🐱 You’re already going to find them adorable~ hahaha (Just a note: pets aren’t allowed!)

Meeting the Fierce Beasts in a Spacious Café

Once I went inside, the café was way bigger than I expected 👀 There were lots of different seating options and plenty of space, so even though it was busy, it didn’t feel cramped at all!! On the right was this cat house planted firmly in place 💕 What kind of house is this—it’s practically a palace.. 👑🐱 So where are the fierce beasts~?

Oh my.. the fierce beast is sleeping way too cutely, hahaha. Usually you can go inside and play with them! But all the kitties were asleep at this time ㅠㅠ So sadly, I could only look.. 👀 They sleep in on weekends too, haha 🤣

And another cat was tucked right inside the house, sleeping too, hahaha. They’re so used to it that they had absolutely zero interest in customers 🤣🤣

Aesthetic Interior with Plenty of Photo Spots

Nyanya has decorated every corner so beautifully! 👍🏻 There are all kinds of props, mirrors, and interior details, making it fun just to look around—and there are so many places to take photos that I had a whole photo session that day too, hahaha 📸🤎

They had a wide range of drinks, from coffee and lattes to tea and ade (Korean fruit soda) >< And the reason I came here!! The Hong Kong waffles 🧇 Looking at the nearby tables, almost everyone had one. Haha (Yep, this really is the popular menu item here.)

And for parking 🚗, if you use the building lot, they support one hour per ₩10,000 spent, for up to two hours! Keep that in mind too ><

They were also running a review event 👀 Apparently you can get cat treats here 🐱🩷 Isn’t that also just too cute, haha?

But seriously, the entire café is decorated so stylishly that taking photos was incredibly fun. It has that exact kind of décor women would absolutely love.. 💕 Every table has a slightly different mood, so I was busy taking pictures everywhere. Hahaha. I especially loved the relaxed feel of the seats where the sunlight streamed in so beautifully! ☀️

It would be nice when you want to relax quietly alone, but also for chatting with friends 💕 or as a Gojan-dong date spot.

There’s also a long table where groups can sit, so it’s totally suitable for a big group of friends or a family gathering!! 🙆♀️ We chose this seat! >< You can see a little of the view outside the window, and every single prop around the table was sooooo pretty 😭 It really felt like they had put so much thought into every nook and cranny, so just sitting there was healing.. 👍🏻

Seasonal Fruit Hong Kong Waffles and Ice Cream

At last, the seasonal fruit Hong Kong waffle arrived >< 🧇🍓🍇 Seriously, the visual alone is amazing, hahaha. Look at how completely loaded it is with fruit.. 🫢

🍨 I thought ice cream and ☕️ coffee would go so well with it, so I ordered them too! The drinks were tasty, but the cups were especially cute, making me take one more photo for no reason.. haha ☕️🤎

It was so pretty that I didn’t want to cut it.. I debated for ages, but when I finally did, it all came tumbling down, hahaha 🤣 Does anyone know how to eat a Hong Kong waffle neatly..? First, drizzle it all over with syrup~ 🤎 One bite with 🧇 waffle, 🍌 fruit, and whipped cream together is the very best combo >< It couldn’t possibly taste bad~ ✨

The Hong Kong waffle itself was super crisp, so the texture was amazing too. Sweet syrup + crisp waffle + tangy fruit is a combo that dessert lovers will absolutely, definitely love! 💕 I was really full, but I just kept eating..

The ice cream had this wonderfully chewy texture(?) too, so it was delicious~~ 🍦 It was nice with the waffle we ordered, and the portion was more generous than I expected, which made me happy haha. Most of all.. it photographs really beautifully, hahaha. I recommend it for anyone wanting pretty photos too 📸💕

Overall, Nyanya in Gojan-dong was a place I wanted to revisit simply because the café itself is sooooo pretty 💕 It has special desserts, tasty ice cream and drinks 🍨, and lots of photo spots everywhere >< It’s perfect for hanging out with friends or for an Ansan date too!!
