Gangnam restaurant for pasta and a rose after dinner: Awesome Rose
In short
Awesome Rose is a Western-style restaurant in Gangnam, Seoul, about an eight-minute walk from Sinsa Station Exit 8. My sister and I had the White Rose Pasta, Rose Steak Deopbap, Rose Salad, and drinks; the tender steak, crisp garlic flakes, spacious tables, and rose we received afterward stood out.

While spending time in Gangnam with my sister, I stopped by Awesome Rose (어썸로즈) Garosu-gil branch. Its rose sign and vintage-style entrance caught my eye first, and receiving a rose after our meal made it especially memorable.
How do you get there from Sinsa Station, and what about parking?
The address is B1, 40 Apgujeong-ro 10-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. According to Naver Map, it is an eight-minute walk from Sinsa Station Exit 8.
Valet service is available beside the restaurant. The original post lists the cost as ₩4,000 for two hours, with subsequent charges noted as “from ₩2,000 per 30 minutes.”
The original post lists the hours as daily from 11:00 to 22:00, with last orders at 21:30. Naver reservations and group visits are available, and takeout, delivery, and Wi-Fi are also listed.
What was the atmosphere like for a date or blind date?
As I followed the map, the rose-shaped sign stood out. The vintage-style entrance matched the restaurant’s name and made me look forward to going in.
The interior felt spacious enough for groups. It was quiet when we visited, and there was plenty of space between the tables. There was also bar seating.
As I sat and looked around, the decorations throughout made me want to take photos. With the generous spacing between seats and the overall atmosphere, I thought it would suit a date or blind date.
Is there a restroom and somewhere to hang coats?
It was convenient that the restroom was inside the restaurant. It is shared by all genders, but it was clean and smelled nice when I used it.
There were coat hangers not far from each table. We did not need outerwear when we visited, but I thought they would make it convenient to hang up coats while eating in winter.
How do you order, and what did we eat?
I removed my phone case and placed my phone on the ordering guide to open a menu link. If it did not scan properly, I could also access it with a QR code.
We ordered the White Rose Pasta, Rose Steak Deopbap (steak rice bowl), Rose Salad, and drinks. We could choose from several dressings for the Rose Salad.
How were the salad, pasta, and steak deopbap?
The Rose Salad and drinks arrived first without a long wait. The salad was nicely presented, and the vegetables felt fresh.
The White Rose Pasta and Rose Steak Deopbap followed. The presentation of both dishes also caught my eye.
The steak in the Rose Steak Deopbap was tender, and the garlic flakes added a crisp contrast in texture. The cream in the White Rose Pasta was smooth, and the shrimp felt substantial.
What stood out after the meal?
When we finished our meal, we were given a rose. My sister and I were happy to receive flowers for the first time in a while.
Beyond the atmosphere, I also remember the staff’s kind service. That small gesture alongside the food stayed with me, making it a place I would think of when looking for a date or blind-date restaurant near Sinsa Station.
