How was it for a two-person wedding invitation meetup in Sinsa?

While preparing for my wedding, I went to Awesome Rose (어썸로즈) to give a friend my wedding invitation. I thought the area around Sinsa Station would be a good midway point for my friend, who lives in southern Gyeonggi-do, and me, who lives in northern Seoul. I had a meal with a school friend I had not seen in a while while we talked about wedding preparations.

What were the atmosphere and weekday evening crowd like?

The space was decorated around a rose theme, with floral arrangements on every table. The atmosphere was pleasant during the meal, so I felt it would suit not only a wedding invitation meetup but also a date or blind date. We met at 5:30 p.m. on a weekday, and about an hour later, it was nearly full.

At the time of my visit, visitors using Naver Reservation were told they could receive one complimentary rose. I thought it was a fitting touch for a slightly special occasion, such as the day you give someone a wedding invitation.

What were the price and components of the two-person Rose Set?

Rather than choosing items individually from the menu, we ordered the two-person Rose Set. It was ₩72,000 at the time of my visit.

We chose the salad and Awesome Rosé Pasta. It was convenient that we could order everything from salad to pasta and steak at once, without spending too long deciding on menu items.

Which salad and drinks did we choose?

Instead of the mushroom soup, we chose the Balsamic Rose Salad. It came with rose-themed plating, and the vegetables felt crisp and fresh. The tangy balsamic flavor refreshed the palate.

My friend had an ade, while I had Singha sparkling water.

At the time of our visit, brown bread was provided for free if we promised to write a Naver Reservation review, so we ordered it as well.

How were the steak and pasta in taste and portion?

The Korean beef Rose Steak retained a moderate amount of juice and was not tough, making it easy to eat with the pasta. The beef itself had a decent flavor, and eating it with the grilled vegetables made it feel less rich.

We could request the steak doneness to our preference. We shared the 200 g steak, and with the salad and pasta, the meal was enough for us.

The Awesome Rosé Pasta was smooth, creamy, and slightly spicy. The sauce was neither heavy nor cloying and went well with the noodles, so it did not feel overly rich.

For this meetup, I liked being able to share several dishes as a set and talk leisurely with my friend in a space with floral decorations. I thought it would be nice to return next time for a date with my husband in Garosu-gil.
