Gwangalli kiosk-order café with gorgonzola pizza: Working Holiday
In short
Working Holiday Minrak is a brunch café on the 7th floor of Badamaru at 29 Minrak Subyeon-ro in Suyeong-gu, Busan, with a panoramic view of Gwangan Bridge. Orders go through the kiosk beside the entrance, and the gorgonzola pizza at 22,000 won and shrimp oil pasta at 19,000 won were eaten at a window seat, with a thin wood-fired crust and garlicky oil noodles both satisfying. Working Holiday Minrak works for a meal, a coffee or an evening glass of wine with the bridge in full view.

I visited Working Holiday Minrak, a Gwangalli brunch café where you can look straight out at the sea while enjoying great food. It's on the 7th floor of the Hongyudan building, right in front of Minrak Waterside Park.

The moment you step out of the elevator, Gwangalli spreads out before you — wow, it really makes you gasp.

Wine displays and the interior at Working Holiday Minrak
Working Holiday Minrak also has a good variety of wines for an evening glass. Bottles that pair well with the various dishes were displayed beautifully.

The interior is decorated so hip that it's a must-visit Gwangalli brunch café for both Busan locals and travelers.

Gwangan Bridge panorama and the outdoor terrace
The Gwangalli sea view spread out ahead was truly beautiful — Gwangan Bridge right in front, the beach and sea taking in the whole panorama in one glance. The atmosphere was really great.

The outdoor terrace was just as impressive, with Gwangan Bridge feeling close enough to touch. It's summer now, but once the cool autumn breeze comes, I bet the terrace seats will be extremely popular.

Kiosk ordering at Working Holiday Minrak: menu and prices
Right next to the entrance door was a kiosk, where you could order brunch dishes as well as coffee or other drinks.
- Shrimp oil pasta ₩19,000
- Gorgonzola pizza ₩22,000

While I kept snapping photos with the Gwangan Bridge view as backdrop after getting the buzzer, our order arrived. It was plated neatly. With everything from Western dishes to bakery items on the menu, it's great for a full meal or just a coffee.

How the gorgonzola wood-fired pizza tasted
First up was the gorgonzola pizza — a wood-fired pizza generously topped with gorgonzola, one of the world's three great blue cheeses.

The crust was thin, so the gorgonzola flavor came through strongly, and being wood-fired, it was chewy while staying light and not at all greasy.

One bite in and I was hooked — creamy, sweet, salty, this gorgonzola pizza was just delicious.

Was the shrimp oil pasta worth 19,000 won?
Shrimp oil pasta.

I usually like aglio e olio, so among the oil pastas I ordered the shrimp version. It looked appetizing from the start — plump shrimp, prepped for easy eating, piled generously in olive oil steeped with garlic aroma.

The thin noodles, boiled just right and springy, had soaked up the oil sauce beautifully — really tasty. The distinctive olive oil aroma layered with the shrimp's savoriness made for a pasta that felt healthy too. Perfect for brunch.
Working Holiday Minrak is a Busan landmark that locals love, but travelers absolutely have to visit too. A place where you can take in Gwangan Bridge in full panorama — I can only imagine how pretty the night view must be in the evening.
