Working Holiday is a Gwangalli brunch cafe on the 7th floor of the Badamaru building at 29 Minrak Suybeon-ro, Suyeong-gu, Busan. The lot number address is Minrak-dong 181-233, Suyeong-gu, Busan, and it's a 23-minute walk from Gwangan Station. It's in the same building as the Starbucks Gwangan Suybeon Park branch and T2N Books Gwangan.

Parking is available in the basement lot behind the Badamaru building. Spend over ₩10,000 and you get 1 hour free, up to a maximum of 4 hours.

It's on the 7th floor of the building, so just take the elevator up.

There's a kiosk right at the entrance before you go in, so you can order first and walk in — pretty convenient.

What seating types does Working Holiday Minrak have?

Inside Working Holiday Minrak there's an L-shaped sofa seating area you can sit around together.

There are also round tables, a row of seats along one wall, and share tables for larger groups.

The service bar has water, glasses, straws and small plates ready to go.

There are 6-seaters scattered around too, round tables by the windows, terrace seats that feel great now that it's cooling down, and 4- and 6-seaters among the sofa area.

With so many different seating types, plants and objects placed here and there act as partitions, giving a sense of separation without feeling closed in.

Gwangalli brunch cafe Working Holiday Minrak is bigger than expected inside, with an exotic vibe and carefully arranged seating of all kinds — you can settle in with a touch of privacy without feeling cramped. Step out onto the terrace and the ocean view opens right up in front of you. With a gentle sea breeze blowing, the wide-open scenery is a totally different charm from being indoors.

Chicken avo sandwich and Margherita pizza: how were they?

The Chicken Avo Sandwich (₩18,000) uses sourdough that's slightly crisp outside and chewy inside, with moist grilled chicken that's not dry at all but tender. The soft avocado on top keeps it light and clean. You can choose salad or soup as a side — I went with salad, and the fresh, crunchy vegetables with a tangy dressing made it feel refreshing to eat.

The Margherita Pizza (₩22,000) looked small in photos, but it came out bigger than I expected. It's the most classic Italian pizza, but with dough fermented fresh every day and fresh toppings baked on, the crust was really chewy yet light. The tangy tomato sauce, savory mozzarella and fragrant basil came together for something light and clean.

From Neapolitan pizza made with dough fermented fresh daily, to Australian-style brunch and specialty coffee, the menu range is wide, and it seems like a comfortable place to visit anytime from morning to evening.

Who is Working Holiday Minrak best for?

If you're visiting Busan, I'd recommend this one for the chance to eat while looking out at Gwangan Bridge. It's a relaxed spot for dates, family meals or hanging out with friends, so if you're looking for an ocean-view spot in Gwangalli, it's worth a visit.
