I visited Bas Burger Jamwon Branch, a great handmade burger spot in Jamwon near Sinsa and Nonhyeon Stations. I stopped by on my way home after a one-day class, and it was honestly the best burger I’ve had lately. Let me tell you why I switched from my usual handmade burger place to Bas Burger! Plus, the owner was so kind that I left feeling great too 🙏🏻

Bas Burger Jamwon Branch: Nonhyeon Station visit information
It is on the first floor at 41 Sinbanpo-ro 47-gil, Seocho-gu, Seoul, 243 m—or a four-minute walk—from Exit 8 of Nonhyeon Station on the Shinbundang Line. It is open Monday through Friday from 10:30 to 21:00, and Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 to 20:30.
Ordering is easy: use the kiosk in front of the shop, take your pager, and wait at your table!

There are counter seats beside the ordering area, perfect for eating while people-watching and relaxing in weather like this,

and there is a separate space next to the main dining area where groups can sit together, so it is comfortable even if you come with several people 👍🏻

They even had both lemon water and barley tea, so I could choose what I wanted. An owner who pays attention to the water at a burger place is truly the best! I was touched by the care at Bas Burger Jamwon Branch near Nonhyeon Station.

Enjoy free potato chips and sauces
When you dine in, you get unlimited crispy James potato chips—completely free! They also set out pepper, ketchup, and mayonnaise for you to use.

It is not common to see a place offering this these days. I really hope this service stays 🙏🏻
All of Bas Burger’s sauces are free, which felt like heaven for a sauce lover like me 🫶🏻

There were so many options—ketchup, mayonnaise, barbecue sauce, honey mustard, Bas Burger house sauce, ranch sauce, and mentaiko mayo—that I wondered if it was really okay to give away this much. I seriously hope the service continues 🙏🏻 (It reminded me of Costco onions.) Writing this post is making me worry again 🥲 Protect my precious handmade burger spot at all costs!
Ordering the Bas Burger and Hawaiian Burger sets
I ordered the Bas Burger with grilled onions instead. It came with a beef patty, real cheddar, house sauce, lettuce, onion, and tomato, plus a hash brown and Coke Zero. The Hawaiian Burger set had a beef patty, real cheddar, house sauce, lettuce, bacon, and pineapple slices, and I chose Sprite!

I also added cheese bacon fries 🫶🏻, a mozzarella cheese bar 💕, and a chili mozzarella cheese bar.

The Bas Burger was so delicious from the first bite that I ate it without thinking, haha. My usual handmade burger place had changed; maybe because prices have risen, the ingredients had gradually disappeared tooㅠㅠ I had been wandering from one burger place to another, but after one bite I decided to settle down at Bas Burger Jamwon Branch near Nonhyeon Station.
The soft bun, beef patty, crisp bacon, and tender hash brown came together with such great texture. There was plenty of lettuce and tomato too, so it was not overly salty—just generous and so delicious 👍🏻

The Hawaiian Burger had pineapple, so it was refreshing, and the bacon made it a perfect sweet-and-salty flavor for anyone who loves that combination! I tried every one of Bas Burger’s sauces for this review!
There are seven: ketchup, mayonnaise, Bas Burger sauce, honey mustard sauce, barbecue sauce, ranch sauce, and mentaiko mayo sauce! My favorites were the mayonnaise and Bas Burger sauce, while the mentaiko mayo tasted new to me but was delicious haha.

Crispy mozzarella cheese bars and chili mozzarella cheese bars
I ordered both the mozzarella cheese bar and chili mozzarella cheese bar, and I highly recommend them as sides! They were piping hot, crispy outside, and packed with cheese inside. Look at that cheese pull! 🙊

The mozzarella cheese bar was so good that I ordered the chili mozzarella cheese bar too! It was spicy, kind of reminded me of fried Pikachu, and was seriously tasty. There is currently an event where you get one mozzarella cheese roll for posting a Naver photo review, so make sure to claim the benefit!

Delivery orders were pouring in, so I thought it would take a long time, but my food came out sooner than I expected 👍🏻

I loved how generously Bas Burger Jamwon Branch near Nonhyeon Station loaded up the ingredients 👍🏻 Just look at the quality of those cheese bacon fries..! A handmade burger place this generous right in the middle of Gangnam—I love Bas Burger Jamwon Branch near Nonhyeon Station 💕

It is not right by my home, but the food was delicious and the owner was incredibly kind even while truly busy, so I left feeling happy and plan to visit Bas Burger Jamwon Branch again 🫶🏻 Its location is convenient for Nonhyeon, Sinsa, Jamwon, and Banpo Stations, making it great for delivery or dining in near Nonhyeon Station!
