Today I'm writing about B-LAB, a date-night favorite in Bangi-dong, Jamsil — an unlimited board game and cocktail bar.

An unlimited cocktail bar with no time limit either. You can play board games and bring in delivery or takeout food too — here's my review after visiting B-LAB. One-line spoiler: highly recommend it as a Jamsil date-night bar.

What B-LAB Jamsil Bangi feels like, and which seat to pick

B-LAB Jamsil Bangi is a cocktail bar on the 2nd floor in Bangi-dong, wrapped in dim yet flashy lighting haha. There were three of us, and we could just pick an open table and sit comfortably. The owner and staff were all friendly, which was nice.

The window seats looked comfy and great for board games, but they were floor seating, so we skipped those and sat at two round tables instead.

A small seating tip: if you're planning to do unlimited cocktails and unlimited board games, I'd recommend the square tables. Sitting at two round tables made it a bit awkward to spread out cards and play games.

At B-LAB Jamsil Bangi, you pay around ₩20,000 per person and get truly unlimited refills of various cocktails, highballs, whiskey, and shots, with no time limit. There are non-alcoholic cocktails too, so even people who can't drink much can join in while playing board games.

Can you bring outside food? Delivery and takeout rules

At B-LAB, this date-night favorite unlimited cocktail bar in Bangi-dong, Jamsil, there's a snack menu, but you can also order delivery or bring in takeout food. We simply brought some snacks. According to the sign, you can order or bring anything as long as it's not strong-smelling food or soupy dishes.

How ordering works: a ₩0 menu on the table QR code

Once you've paid the unlimited fee at B-LAB Jamsil Bangi, you order everything afterward by scanning the QR code at your table — notice how every price on the menu shows ₩0?

You enter your options and order on your phone, and staff make the cocktail right in front of you on the spot; you get a notification on your phone when it's ready. You pick it up yourself, and return the empty cup to the side once you're done. Some unlimited cocktail bars require you to flag down staff for every single order, but at B-LAB Jamsil, you just scan the QR at your table and order from your phone — actually more convenient haha.

My favorite part was being able to personally adjust the sweetness and alcohol level for each order

If you're a lightweight, lower the alcohol level, and there's a non-alcoholic option too! If you love sweet drinks, crank the sweetness all the way up haha. And for someone like me who's a drinker but hates sweet stuff, you can lower the sweetness — this kind of freewheeling customization made it easy to drink exactly to your taste.

Unlimited board games too, plus blankets at B-LAB

One wall of B-LAB Jamsil Bangi is lined with all kinds of board games. There are blankets too. You just take one game at a time, play as much as you want haha, and put it back neatly when you're done. Since there's no time limit for either the cocktails or the board games, you can imagine how relaxed it feels...

They sell my favorite butter popcorn — the kind that puffs up when you microwave it — for ₩5,000.

Cocktails are basically a dessert-like drink that doesn't need a side dish, but if you want something simple to snack on, just ordering the popcorn alone should be enough.

Before heading into the cocktail bar, you can just stop by Daiso, buy some snacks, and eat freely. Owner gives you unlimited time, unlimited drinks, and lets you bring outside food for snacks — what more is there to want? I don't know, but thank you.

How did the cocktails actually taste?

The first two cocktails we ordered came out first. We drank so many glasses that night haha, I honestly can't remember what was what.

Normally, if you accidentally order a cocktail you don't know by name, you end up leaving some unfinished, but that night, nothing stood out as bad. Everything was genuinely good, so we finished everything we ordered without leaving a drop.

I think it's partly because each of us could adjust the sweetness and alcohol level individually to our own taste haha.

And there were photos in the menu descriptions, so it was nice to reference those on your phone and order accordingly.

Cocktails filled with colorful personal touches — they looked pretty, the vibe was great, and the taste was great too.

At B-LAB, the unlimited cocktail bar in Bangi-dong, Jamsil that's a date-night favorite, the atmosphere was so good that everyone kept saying we'd need to come back here — not with us, though, but with a boyfriend for an actual date, ha.

I really should have sat at this square table, ugh haha. You crush a round of Blitz, the word-association board game I love, and once your stomach settles from the cocktails, you go for another round of drinking — just repeat that infinitely.

Is B-LAB Jamsil Bangi worth it? Final verdict

With no time limit, it was such a relaxed, easy place to drink and talk — B-LAB, this date-night favorite unlimited cocktail bar in Bangi-dong, Jamsil. My friends and I had such a fun time that we're definitely planning to go back!! I think it'll become one of the go-to bars I think of when I'm in Jamsil. I'd also fully recommend it as a date bar in Bangi-dong, Jamsil. Oh, and since outside food is allowed, it'd be a great spot for a birthday party too!!
