Anyone else love both lamb skewers and hotpot? I love both, so if I have to pick just one, I always end up agonizing over it.

This time I was in Nampo-dong and found a place where you can enjoy all-you-can-eat hotpot and lamb skewers together. It's Sacheon Hwogwa Yangkkochi Nampo Branch.

You can get unlimited hotpot plus lamb skewers, and the price isn't heavy on the wallet at all, which makes it a perfect budget-friendly spot given how expensive everything is these days.

Where is Sacheon Hwogwa Yangkkochi Nampo Branch, and where can you park?
Sacheon Hwogwa Yangkkochi Nampo Branch sits near the Bupyeong Pork Trotter Alley, so it's easy to drop by while wandering Kkangtong Market or Gukje Market. The address is 1F, 7 Bupyeong 1-gil, Jung-gu, Busan.
📍 Location: 1F, 7 Bupyeong 1-gil, Jung-gu, Busan, South Korea ⏰ Hours: Mon–Sun 12:00–24:00 🚗 Parking: use nearby paid parking
The red sign out front really catches your eye, so it wasn't hard to spot even in the alley! There's no dedicated parking lot, so if you're driving, I'd recommend using a nearby paid lot.

Inside Sacheon Hwogwa Yangkkochi: is it good for group gatherings?
Stepping inside Sacheon Hwogwa Yangkkochi Nampo Branch, the interior was much bigger than I expected. It has a long layout with several tables, making it a good fit for friends or for company dinners and larger group gatherings.
They said it can seat up to 50 people, so it seems great for group hotpot outings too. While we were eating, customers kept streaming in — not just Korean but Chinese and Southeast Asian guests as well, which gave the place a fun, slightly international feel.
Hotpot and lamb skewer refill prices and time limits
The biggest draw at Sacheon Hwogwa Yangkkochi Nampo is the all-you-can-eat setup! You can order hotpot only, lamb skewers only, or both together like I did.
- Hotpot ₩21,900
- Lamb skewers ₩23,900
- Hotpot + lamb skewers ₩24,900
Getting both for ₩24,900 per person — the price barely goes up compared to ordering just one, so I'd definitely recommend getting both.

The time limit is 90 minutes for a meal, or up to 120 minutes if you're drinking too. You know the unspoken rule with all-you-can-eat places, right — don't pile your plate sky-high from the start, just grab what you'll actually eat and refill as needed, haha.
What can you take from the self-bar?
And when you're eating hotpot, checking out the self-bar is half the fun, right? Sacheon Hwogwa Yangkkochi Nampo Branch's self-bar was way more packed than I expected.

First there's the meat — lamb, beef, and pork all laid out so you can pick whatever suits your taste. If the distinctive smell of lamb is off-putting, you can go with beef or pork instead, so it works well even if people in your group have different preferences.

There was also a good variety of vegetables — basics like bok choy, cabbage, and bean sprouts, plus all sorts of mushrooms, so I loaded up on a good mix to drop into the hotpot broth.
And my favorite hotpot items — tofu skin, fuzhu (dried tofu skin), and fried tofu — were all there too! From chewy noodle options like corn noodles, glass noodles, and fenmozi (sweet potato starch noodles) to seafood and meatballs, it really felt like they had everything.
You can't skip the sauce when it comes to hotpot. There's a separate sauce bar where you pick ingredients and mix your own. They even post instructions for making sauces, so first-timers can follow along easily.
I thought only the hotpot ingredients would be varied, but the lamb skewer options were plentiful too — plain skewers, seasoned skewers, beef skewers, pork skewers, chicken wings, garlic, mushrooms, pork skin, and even beef heart.

Fuzhu simmered in the red broth soaks up the soup and turns chewy yet savory — it's amazing, so I loaded up a whole plate and went back for a refill.

I of course grabbed the plain lamb skewers first. The lamb's characteristic smell wasn't too strong, so it was easy to eat without hesitation. If you're a lamb skewer fan, this flavor should satisfy you!

How do the white broth and level-2 red broth taste?
Once you sit down, both the hotpot and the lamb skewer grill are set up together in the middle of the table. That day we ordered the two-stage combo of white broth and red broth! Having both broths in one pot at once makes it easy to pick and choose based on what you're craving.

The white broth was clean and mild, great for vegetables and mushrooms, while the level-2 red broth was spicy with a distinct mala spice aroma coming through strongly.

Personally, the red broth already gets spicy from level 2, so I'd recommend it to anyone who loves mala or spicy flavors! Dropping ingredients like tofu skin and fuzhu into the red broth brought out a numbing yet deeply savory taste.

Grilling lamb skewers at the table: how to get them right
At Sacheon Hwogwa Yangkkochi Nampo Branch, the skewers slowly rotate and cook on a tabletop grill, and honestly the sight alone looks delicious. The trick is not to overcook the lamb skewers — they can get tough, so eat them right when they turn golden brown!

Cooked golden brown, they were packed with savory flavor. The juices rose to the surface, keeping them moist, and combined with that distinct charcoal aroma, it was really tasty.

For my hotpot sauce, I mixed peanut-sesame paste with a bit of minced garlic, scallion, and chili oil, and it really brought out a nutty, savory flavor.

Corn noodles, meatballs, and fenmozi soaked in the spicy red broth were also a real treat, with the fiery soup soaking right into the noodles.
Self-serve soft ice cream at the entrance to finish
After stuffing ourselves with hotpot and lamb skewers, we walked out to find self-serve soft ice cream set up at the entrance of Sacheon Hwogwa Yangkkochi Nampo Branch. It has that rich, high-quality milk flavor, so don't skip it — make sure to grab this dessert on your way out. :)

After browsing Kkangtong Market for the first time in a while and stuffing myself with delicious hotpot and lamb skewers, it really felt like a proper Nampo-dong food tour. If you love both lamb skewers and hotpot like me, enjoy them both for just ₩24,900. If you're looking for a great-value hotpot and lamb skewer spot near Nampo-dong's Kkangtong Market, I'd recommend Sacheon Hwogwa Yangkkochi Nampo Branch! 🔥
