Changwon bar with Shin Ramyun risotto: Oyat-ri

There are two-person and four-person tables, plus bar seating, so you can sit wherever you like~

Oyat-ri had these unusual Japanese-style seats. They are floor seats, but you can stretch your legs down underneath, so they were comfortable to sit at. They kind of felt like a house from Crayon Shin-chan—such a Japanese vibe, haha.

There were music videos playing in one corner too, so the atmosphere was completely lovely~

Oyat-ri is still a bar that draws lots of people~ Even though we went on a weekday evening, it was absolutely packed. I thought, yep, this really is a hot spot in Jinhae, haha. So many women were there too.

Basil tomato starter and the menu

Once you sit down, they bring out basil tomatoes as the complimentary starter. These basil tomatoes are seriously, seriously delicious!!!!! The tomatoes were sweet and went so well with the basil that I almost filled up on these alone, haha.

Here is the menu! It had changed since I came about a year ago! A few new dishes had been added, so I was really curious. Every single thing on this menu is such high quality that whatever you order is bound to be delicious~!!

So we ordered one of the new dishes, the Shin Ramyun risotto that I get every time I come here, and Saero Omija—which I had been looking for every time I went to a bar!

Saero Omija and our drinking dishes

Let’s start with the Saero Omija that came out first~ I had really wanted to try this, and I finally got to, haha. Saero Omija had less of an alcohol taste, with a subtle, refreshing omija (five-flavor berry) flavor coming through. Even people who do not like alcohol could probably drink this!

The dishes are here!! Just looking at them is making my mouth water already, haha. The light is right above the table, so I think the photos came out well too!

The Shin Ramyun risotto I order every time at Oyat-ri

Shin Ramyun risotto! I order this every time I come to Oyat-ri!!! Shin Ramyun as risotto!!! Honestly, that is a combination that cannot possibly taste bad, right~!!

And you can even do this little performance, haha. After doing it like this and taking a bite~ !!!! It is delicious ㅠㅠ

Since it is Shin Ramyun risotto, you get chewy rice along with noodles and bacon, so there are lots of different textures and flavors. It has that Shin Ramyun spiciness too, so you can keep eating without getting tired of it!!! My absolute favorite drinking dish~

Kani miso pasta with rich crab-innards flavor

Kani miso pasta! We ordered it because it was a new menu item, but what is this presentation!! That crab is staring us down so fiercely, haha. We will eat it right away and show it who is boss.

When you twirl it up like this and take a bite! It has this rich, marinated-crab flavor along with a nutty doenjang (fermented soybean paste) note, and it was seriously delicious!! I love crab, so I absolutely loved that rich crab-innards flavor.

And the crab itself was really delicious!! Haekkung strongly recommended that I try it, and after tasting it, I could see why!!! The shell was soft too, so you could even crunch it up and eat it whole.

Haha, looking back, this was such a well-chosen combination of dishes. With risotto and pasta, the drinks go down so easily~

Final thoughts

If you are looking for a bar in Jinhae, I recommend Oyat-ri!! Seriously, whatever drinking dish you order, you will not regret it!!! The Shin Ramyun risotto that Oyat-ri is known for was still delicious, and the new menu item was delicious too~
