In short
Kkotdwaeji Sikdang Gyeongsan Branch is a beef, pork and jeongol (Korean hot pot) restaurant on Seongam-ro in Gyeongsan, Gyeongbuk. Craving daechang (grilled beef intestines), the writer ordered the mixed daechang grill plus a medium gopchang jeongol set for two, with staff pre-grilling the meat and a generous self-serve side dish bar. A wide hall and large parking lot make it a solid pick for group dinners or company outings.

I was craving daechang (grilled beef intestines) today, and while looking around I heard there's a real hotspot near Daegu in Gyeongsan — so I ran straight over! It's Kkotdwaeji Sikdang Gyeongsan Branch, a Gyeongsan restaurant famous for group meals. They sell beef and pork at the same time, so if you can't decide what you want, this place solves it right away.
Let me introduce it — come along with me haha.
Location, hours and parking
It's at 102 Seongam-ro, 1F, Gyeongsan-si, Gyeongbuk, South Korea — Kkotdwaeji Sikdang.
Open every day from Monday to Sunday, 12:00–23:00, with last order at 21:50.
There's a large dedicated parking lot, so you can just drive over without any worry.
The outside atmosphere

This is Kkotdwaeji Sikdang Gyeongsan Branch, a Gyeongsan restaurant famous for group meals. The place is so spacious haha — it stretches wide sideways, so it's hard to fit it all in one shot. With this many customers already there, it's clearly a hit spot.

They're running a watermelon sorbet event for summer, so come check it out! The real deal of enjoying meat and jeongol (hot pot) together — that's exactly what I came to enjoy haha.
What's the inside like

This must be Kkotdwaeji Sikdang Gyeongsan Branch's signature logo haha.

The interior is warm and really clean haha. Nicely arranged in wood tones, and it goes well with the posters on the walls!

They also sell a Japanese Fukuoka-style daechang jeongol alongside the regular version, so you can pick! With pork, beef and jeongol all available, whoever you go with, everyone can find something to eat.

The table-grilling service
One thing that's hard to leave out when talking about Kkotdwaeji Sikdang Gyeongsan Branch is the service where staff grill the meat for you. At meat restaurants, timing the grill is always a bit of a hassle, but here the staff do it, so you can just relax and chat with your group while eating. Looking at actual visitor reviews, people praise this convenience, along with the meat's juiciness and tender texture.
Especially for group dinners or family outings with several people, it's pretty handy that no single person has to keep manning the grill the whole time.

There's also a self-serve bar on one side of the restaurant! If any side dish runs low while you're eating, you can go grab as much as you want. It's nice to eat without worrying about that haha.
The menu

Here's the menu at Kkotdwaeji Sikdang Gyeongsan Branch, a Gyeongsan restaurant famous for group meals. There's quite a lot on it, so I'd recommend taking your time to look through these photos I took haha.
How was the mixed daechang grill + jeongol (medium) set
I had the mixed daechang grill plus the medium jeongol set! It was way too generous and delicious for two people.

The side dishes come out really well. See how the whole table is set? So good haha. And that onion sauce is delicious — you have to dip your meat in it haha.

A clean, solid basic table setting — the best!!

They even give everyone their own spoon so you can eat hygienically!

The medium gopchang jeongol arrived. Even the medium size is quite a lot haha. Expecting a spicy, deep broth flavor as I dig in — it really is different, haha.
Finally, the main event, the mixed daechang grill, arrived! Kimchi and chives to go with it came out separately~~
Since it came pre-grilled, it only needed a little more time on the fire, so I didn't get lightheaded waiting — that was nice! Doesn't it look so good!

The signature menu, daechang jeongol, is a spicy soup made with herbal and ox bone broth, and there's also a set menu combining the mixed daechang grill with the jeongol.

We savored it piece by piece with some soju like this. No regrets left haha.

So so delicious! Exactly the flavor I was picturing haha.

There are lots of cute posters on the walls haha. It turned into a really fun dinner. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to eat both beef and pork well^^
