A 1,000-square-meter dining room with group seating

Here's the interior of this Nowon favorite. The space is over 1,000 square meters, spacious and clean, with a bright, comfortable vibe great for a meal! Best of all, the seating is wide enough for groups of 50, 100, even up to 300 people to use like a private venue! (Rooms fit 40–60, group seating fits 14–200.) 120 menu items — what's on offer

Now for the big reveal — the menu! Kuu Kuu has over 120 items in total, from fresh sushi, rolls, and gunkan to a variety of hot foods, a salad bar, and a dessert, waffle, and fruit corner!

The sushi and roll corner and fresh salmon sashimi
The sushi and roll corner had such a huge variety that picking what to eat was half the fun! Every piece of sushi looked so fresh and delicious, I didn't want to miss a single one, haha. The halibut, salmon, and shrimp sushi used bigger cuts of fish than before, so you could really fill your mouth with halibut and salmon, and the botan shrimp brought a rich, full shrimp flavor! T_T 👍👍
Given the price, the sheer number of dishes was amazing — being able to enjoy such variety, all-you-can-eat until you're stuffed, felt so good in these high-price times! This is really not the Kuu Kuu I remember. I went there a lot as a kid, and the quality now is on a completely different level, haha.
On weekday dinner and weekends/holidays, fresh salmon sashimi also makes an appearance! It's Norwegian raw salmon that isn't even available at the Kuu Kuu Gold branch! Truly fresh through and through!

Lamb chops and smoked duck
Next, Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch has also added lamb chops and smoked duck, both delicious additions to enjoy!! As expected, they're super popular and disappear fast, haha. Lamb chops are available all day! And smoked duck is only available for weekday dinner and weekends/holidays 😄

Pasta, pizza, en croûte soup, and noodles
There was also a good variety of pasta and pizza, the classic buffet staples,

and something unique to Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch — en croûte soup, along with jjajang, jjamppong, udon, and cold soba, all available in great variety~ The en croûte soup really looked too good to pass up, don't you think? Haha.
On top of that, there were several kinds of fried dishes to enjoy. In one corner, there were various porridges, along with fried shrimp with sweet chili sauce, cream shrimp, and mala shrimp,

and patbochae (Chinese-style seafood and vegetable stir-fry), steamed clams with rice wine, and Dongpo pork, so many good-looking dishes that I ended up trying one of everything, haha.
And it's still not over! There's fried rice, tteokbokki, sundae, LA-style short ribs, sausages, and all kinds of side dishes prepared too! The menu is so diverse and fresh-looking that the meal was extremely satisfying!! You could tell real thought went into every single item, haha.
Drinks and draft beer corner
Now let me show you the drinks corner. At Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch, instead of Filite beer, you can enjoy unlimited Terra or Kelly draft beer for ₩5,900 with a review!

What about dessert? Waffles, chocolate fountain, Dippin' Dots
Now for the finishing desserts. There were various slushes, plum tea, ube latte, yogurt, and more.
And here's another amazing thing — you can even make your own bingsu (shaved ice), and there's a waffle machine!!! It's been a while since I had a waffle, and it was delicious, haha.

And it's still not done. There's a chocolate fountain too, which made piling on the sugary desserts pure happiness T_T. There's plenty of dippables to go with it too. There's also a range of dessert cakes and fruits, so grab whatever suits your taste!

And the last amazing thing... the buffet offers Dippin' Dots-style ice cream!!!!! It used to only be available for weekday dinner or weekends, but now you can enjoy it unlimited even at lunch! Kids love this ice cream, so it's the perfect spot to visit with your children during school breaks or after school! Go enjoy this pricey ice cream unlimited while you can~!~!
What I actually ate — why the steamed crab is so popular
With 120 buffet items to explore, I loaded up my plate big time, haha.

I wanted to enjoy everything that looked good all at once, so I just piled on whatever looked delicious... haha, greedy, right? Haha... (I finished it all.)

Look at the quality of this food! It puts the old Kuu Kuu to shame, seriously! The sashimi was so fresh, it went down smoothly and tasted great too!
This is my favorite tamago sushi, and they even top the sushi with shrimp! T_T Amazing.
Everyone kept grabbing the steamed crab, so I tried it too — wow! It really captured that homemade, countryside taste! Now I understood why so many people were eating so much of it, haha. And I went back for more, (no secret there). This time, focused on the dishes I enjoyed even more~~

Gotta finish with dessert too, right? Haha. There were so many types of dessert, it was great for enjoying a variety of K-desserts! The Dippin' Dots-style ice cream especially was so good!
Looking for a family restaurant near Hagye Station in Nowon for a family gathering or group meal? I highly recommend Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch right away! Shall we go stuff ourselves with sushi?❤️
