Busan night-view café, jambon eggs Benedict: Working Holiday Minrak
In short
Working Holiday Minrak is an ocean-view brunch café on the 7th floor of the Badamaru building in Minrak, Suyeong-gu, Busan, looking out over Gwangan Bridge. The evening was cool but too windy for the outdoor terrace, so the visit happened at a window table at sunset over jambon eggs Benedict (20,000 won with the croissant swap) and Bolognese pasta (20,000 won). Daytime is pleasant, but the evening view at Working Holiday Minrak is prettier, and the large floor suits both dates and group gatherings.

Today I'm sharing an honest review and menu recommendations from Working Holiday and Night, a Gwangalli brunch café where you can enjoy an ocean view of Gwangan Bridge along with really nice interior design ₊⁺⊹

Working Holiday Minrak hours and parking
- 📍Open daily 09:00–22:30
- 📍Parking supported if you use the basement lot in the building
- 📍Group and Naver Reservation available
It's located on the 7th floor of a building at the end of Gwangalli Beach, so you get a wide-open view of the sea and Gwangan Bridge 🌊 If you use the basement parking lot behind the Badamaru building, parking support is available depending on how much you spend.

Inside the 7th floor: seating and a window table at sunset
Walking in, the open kitchen and ordering counter are the first thing you see, and it feels really clean ✨ The space is spacious with big windows, so it feels open and never noisy at all.
I had no idea there was a large café like this with such a great vibe in Gwangalli•• The space is so pretty it almost feels like being abroad 🫶🏻

The refreshing ocean view from every seat, plus the stylish interior and quiet music, all feel really nice ➰ They have tables for 2, tables for 4, and group seating, and you can even reserve specific seats in advance, so it's perfect for group gatherings or work dinners too?!
Sitting at the window table, the sunset view was just so pretty 🖤 Daytime is nice, but I think evening might be even prettier.

Too windy for the terrace: ordering jambon eggs Benedict and Bolognese pasta
Jambon eggs Benedict (+croissant swap) 20.0 Bolognese pasta 20.0

One nice thing about Working Holiday, this great Gwangalli café, is that you can order Australian-style brunch made with fresh ingredients from morning to evening!! I ordered a combo of a brunch item and pasta ✔️
It was cool weather so I was thinking of sitting outside, but the wind was too strong, so I retreated indoors 🥹 If it's a clear day, the outdoor terrace is a must!

Jambon eggs Benedict with the 1,000-won croissant swap
Jambon eggs Benedict topped with jambon ham made from pork foreleg, a fresh salsa and hollandaise sauce, and a soft poached egg 👅 The default bread is sourdough, but for an extra ₩1,000 I swapped it for a croissant.
It's generously topped with tomato, corn, breadcrumbs, pepper, olive oil and more, giving it a really appetizing look 🤤

Swapping the bread for croissant was a genius move 🤩 The staff recommended it as tastier, and the buttery croissant definitely added a lot of flavor.

The savory yet salty jambon ham, the rich poached egg, and the well-balanced yuzu hollandaise sauce all come together to fill your mouth with flavor.

The salsa with crunchy tomato, onion, and corn is the real kick, so make sure to eat it together!

Bolognese pasta with house-made ragù, 20,000 won
Bolognese pasta made with a house-made ragù sauce simmered slowly with beef and tomato 🍝
The chewy tagliatelle noodles mixed with the ragù sauce and Grana Padano cheese give you both savory depth and richness at the same time 🍅

A classic, foolproof meat sauce pasta — if you're a meat sauce pasta lover, try it!! Don't forget to pile it onto the sourdough that comes on the side too.

The jambon eggs Benedict suited my taste more, but my friend says the pasta wins!?!! Both are delicious, so pick whichever you're craving that day 👀

Restrooms, decor, and the pizza to try next time at Working Holiday Minrak
There are lots of fun interior decor pieces to look at, plus a clean, separated restroom 🙌🏻
They're also known for authentic Napoli-style pizza made daily with their own fermented dough and fresh ingredients, so if you're looking for a great pizza spot in Gwangalli, check it out 🍕

If you're looking for a great Gwangalli brunch café for a date, or a Gwangalli brunch spot with an outdoor terrace, I highly recommend Working Holiday and Night ෆ⸒⸒
