C-curl 8–10mm LED lash extensions near Gyeongnam University: W Beauty

I wanted a sharper eye look but didn't want anything too heavy or over-the-top, so while looking into lash places in Masan, I went to W Beauty near Gyeongnam University. Instead of regular extensions, I got LED lash extensions, and asked for a natural-leaning consultation. Bottom line up front: if you care not just about the design but also about comfort during the procedure and easy aftercare, I'd recommend this place!

It's easy to reach from around Gyeongnam University or the Daetgeori area, and it was nice that parking was available even if I drove.

A spacious salon atmosphere

The shop was much bigger and more comfortable than I expected. The waiting area has a nice view and is really spacious, right? There are dedicated staff for each specialty, and lash extensions and lifts are apparently handled by dedicated specialists.

Booking and choosing curl and length

I visited after booking directly with the director.

With lash extensions, it's not about how many lashes are attached — what matters is choosing curl and length to match your eye shape and the vibe you're going for. At W Beauty, they talk through what look you want before the treatment and consult on curl, length, and thickness together.

There's a wide range from J-curl to LC-curl, and various lengths too, so you can pick a natural style or a more dramatic one depending on your taste. Special curls apparently come with no extra charge, so if there's a curl you want, ask about it during the consultation. I asked for something natural but still sharp, with lengths suited to my eye shape, and they went with C-curl mixing 8–10mm. Just for reference!

LED lash extensions — why the no-touch technique was so comfortable

One thing I quietly loved was the 'no-touch' technique, where they don't press on your face or rest their hands on you. When you're getting lashes done and they keep pressing on your forehead or nose, it messes with your makeup and is kind of uncomfortable, ugh. Since they didn't touch those areas at all, it was much more comfortable lying there. It might seem like a small thing, but once you experience it yourself, the difference feels pretty big.

My lashes are weak and fine. They're apparently kind of a tricky case, so it really shows when someone skilled does them. What I got recently was LED lash extensions — unlike the regular method, this uses a dedicated LED to quickly set the glue, so the best part is being able to wash your face or exercise right after the treatment. At first I wondered, 'does LED really make that much of a difference?' haha

But with lashes, sometimes what's annoying isn't the treatment itself but having to be careful about water touching them afterward. Having less of that aftercare burden is genuinely convenient. The lashes used were also lightweight premium flat lashes, and being able to choose from various curls and lengths meant I could design them to match the eye look I wanted.

Ta-da~ the moment of checking the mirror afterward is always the most curious part, lol. I wanted my eyes to look a bit sharper overall rather than having the lashes stand out on their own, and it turned out exactly as we discussed — not overdone at all.

I was especially worried that attaching multiple strands would feel heavy or stuffy, but it felt lighter than expected, and I really liked that.

Getting lashes done in Masan myself, I realized that curl and length matter, but so does how comfortable the treatment is and how much hassle the aftercare is. Comparing regular extensions to LED, the biggest difference I felt was how easy the aftercare was. No stinging eyes — that was so nice!

I care more about a design that suits my eye shape and easy aftercare than about 'as full as possible,' so this LED lash extension really suited me.
