What kind of Chinese restaurant is Bueokgan on Haeundae's Dalmaji-gil?

Looking for an upscale-feeling but affordable Chinese restaurant in Haeundae!!! Highly recommend Bueokgan Haeundae. The exterior and interior are super, super fancy, but the food is really reasonably priced... and that doesn't mean the taste is lacking, no way!! It's delicious. Delicious, has parking, clean inside — nothing's missing from this Haeundae Chinese restaurant, and that's Bueokgan. I don't usually go to Chinese restaurants much, but this place was genuinely great!! Good for dates, good for group meals... I think eating solo would be fine too????

The jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) was super delicious too. If you like jjamppong you have to go... the shrimp was tasty and the jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles) too....hahahahaha no really it was great. This atmosphere, this portion, this price...? Genuinely thank you for opening in Haeundae. I'll be back!!!!!!

Finding Bueokgan Chinese: the building, the walk and parking

It's about a 20-minute walk from Jangsan Station. You can also take the village bus or bus 185! Taking the bus gets you pretty close. There's a parking lot right below the restaurant!

Bueokgan, which serves Western food, is on the 2nd floor! The Chinese restaurant is on the 1st floor! The Western food is good too, just between us...

I liked that every table has a sofa, hehe.

The other tables are pretty too, but this seat, really... isn't the view amazing...

Right now it's lush green but I think it'll turn yellow soon. Once it turns all red and gold I want to come see it again... a million hearts. I thought only Gwangalli had view spots like this, but Haeundae has one too... if you're looking for a view spot, this is really it...

How much does the menu cost at Bueokgan Chinese?

Jjajang is ₩8,000! Jjamppong is ₩12,000! Fried rice is ₩10,000! These days even a regular Chinese restaurant costs this much or more, but this place has great atmosphere plus a nice view plus parking, and it's still this price.... isn't that pretty great!!

Three dishes tried: beef belly jjamppong, ganjjajang and jalapeño cream shrimp

Outside is so pretty!!!! Eating while looking at the lush green view — digestion goes well, mood is good, taste levels up, happy, joyful, and so on. Bueokgan, the Haeundae Chinese restaurant, is the best.

I was torn between sweet and sour pork but got curious about the jalapeño so I went with cream shrimp, hehe. The shrimp were really plump. The jalapeño wasn't too spicy!!! Truly delicious cream shrimp... eating it with the jjamppong wasn't sweet-and-salty but more like sweet-and-spicy..? Haha it went really well together.

The jjamppong had a generous portion too and smelled of that grilled meat aroma... I was debating between this and a seafood version but ended up thinking jjamppong really needs that meaty fire flavor, and ordered it — no regrets!!!!! I fell for the jjamppong at Bueokgan, the Haeundae Chinese restaurant. If it were a bit closer to home I think I'd come eat solo often, heh heh.

The jjajang was delicious too. My companion is somewhat picky about jjajang haha, but they really liked it... it was tasty...

When you order ganjjajang it comes with a poached egg, and this poached egg was also really pretty and delicious and did it all.. mixing it into the jjajang is absolutely fantastic!!!! If you're planning a group meal in Haeundae, or looking for a Chinese restaurant to go with family, give Bueokgan Haeundae a try try. The parking lot isn't huge so on weekends you might need to time it well! There were about 5 parking spots, I think.
