I had an appointment near Jungang Station, so I stopped by PARENTS Coffee & Salad Jungang-dong Branch for a solo salad lunch *⸌☻ັ⸍*
There are a lot of offices near Jungang Station, so it seems to already be word-of-mouth famous as a lunch spot where busy office workers can eat something healthy and simple — customers kept coming in even after lunchtime.
🥗Salads, poke, wrap sandwiches or burritos, breads, plus drinks and coffee — I love how many options there are!

I visited right at lunchtime and worried it might be packed, but the place turned out to be pretty spacious~
Interior and seating

There were also a lot of chairs and space for takeout customers to wait comfortably.

There are two-person tables for solo dining,

and of course 3-4 person tables and 👨👩👧👧 group tables too.
Menu lineup

If you're not sure what to get, the menu board has photos to help you decide! I also spent a long time deciding with so many options...( >д<)

From dressing types to coffee, smoothies, drinks, tea, and ⭐ the most impressive part -> they sell protein drinks 🥤! And every menu item lists calories, which should be really handy for anyone watching their diet~!

What I ordered — poke, wrap sandwich, almond latte
🙋🏻♀️ I ordered one iced almond latte (₩3,800), the best-selling spicy pork neck poke salad (₩13,000), and the crispy chicken wrap sandwich (₩7,900).

First, the almond latte wasn't chalky at all — it had a rich, smooth feel, so latte lovers should definitely give it a try♥

When I hesitated over which dressing to pick, the owner recommended one that pairs well with my salad! Since I had the spicy pork poke, I got the oriental dressing 😊

Spicy pork neck poke salad
My beloved multigrain rice topped with a generous amount of seasoned pork neck and well-matched vegetables — it looked great the moment I saw it *⸌☻ັ⸍*

It was already seasoned, but being a sauce lover, I poured on a bit more♥ There were also onion? garlic? flakes and flying fish roe for extra texture, which made me chew more thoroughly~

Crispy chicken wrap sandwich
The crispy chicken wrap sandwich comes cut into two pieces for easy eating. If you order a salad each and split the wrap sandwich with a friend, it seems like a nice, filling combo~?

As you can see in the photo, it's packed full and quite substantial ミ✭ The ingredients are fresh and crunchy-delicious.
There's sweet potato mousse spread inside, so along with a subtle sweetness, the chicken, vegetables, and sauce went so well together that it never got tiring ꉂ☻ᵎᵎᵎ
How was solo dining?
The atmosphere was great for eating alone — quiet and comfortable — and with so many menu options, I got curious about other dishes too~! Seeing so many people come just for coffee, this must be a coffee hotspot in Jungang-dong haha
