Nampo-dong bar for beef intestine and cheese fire noodles: Budan

Today's second round of the night was at a bar called "Budan" in Nampo-dong!

I used to go to Budan all the time in my early twenties when it was in Seomyeon haha. This is my second, maybe third visit to the Nampo-dong branch~~ They've got so many good side dishes (anju) that it works whether you go there first round or second round haha.

A great pick if you want a bar with good atmosphere! It's on the 2nd floor above Miryang Pork Soup Rice ✨

You all know Miryang Pork Soup Rice in the pork feet alley, right! It's right on the 2nd floor of that building~

So how big is the inside?

So many tables! Great for work dinners and great for meetups too. There's a university nearby, so a lot of students come here in groups too haha.

Budan has so many side dishes — this time, maedalgu

I've tried sundubu-dan, jju-shrimp, and corn-babadak at Budan before. This time I wanted to try something new haha. I ordered maedalgu!

Tender grilled beef intestine and chicken thigh with real fire-cooked flavor, comes out as a cheese bomb, with green chili and buldak-bokkeum-myeon (fire noodles) on top too — exactly our style .. 🩷

Perfect for sipping a drink while you order and wait for your food to come out! Might not seem like much but it's crazy good ✨🤩

How was the beef intestine + fire noodles combo?

It came out faster than I expected hehe. Beef intestine, chicken thigh, cheese, fire noodles — it all comes out together. There's no reason not to order this, right? lol

Since I'm obsessed with fire noodles, I'll try that part first haha.

But the portion is seriously huge, I couldn't finish it all ㅜ Looks delicious though right~? I'm dying over this side dish lol

Since I also love beef intestine, let me try it together with the fire noodles!

Remember when beef intestine + fire noodles was a huge YouTube trend a while back lolololol — a combo that everyone agreed wasn't great;;

The cheese stretches so long. I love cheese so much. This place could honestly work as a meal restaurant too? lolol

The finishing side dish: Oreo bingsu

Second side dish appears haha. I ordered Oreo bingsu (shaved ice dessert)! (Gonna take a photo so pose cute) But why is it so wobbly and soft lolololol

Felt like a waste to just have one thing so I ordered the Oreo bingsu, and it was sweet and delicious. Goes down so smoothly with drinks too .. 🌀
