Namyangsan Station restaurant with egg yolk pesto pasta: Bueokgan
In short
Bueokgan Restaurant Yangsan Oslo Park Branch is a European-style Western restaurant on the basement floor of Oslo Park in Mulgeum-eup, Yangsan, near Namyangsan Station and Yangsan Pusan National University Hospital. On a late-lunch visit, Bueokgan served basil pesto cream pasta at 18,000 won, seafood tomato pasta at 19,000 won and truffle mushroom pizza at 22,000 won, and the pesto pasta eaten with its egg yolk broken and stirred in, along with the truffle-scented pizza, were the highlights. The seafood tomato pasta was marked spicy but tasted nothing of the sort, yet with Oslo Park parking and Yes Kids Zone equipment, Bueokgan works well for a family lunch.

I was looking for lunch near Yangsan Pusan National University Hospital by Namyangsan Station when I ended up at Bueokgan by chance. I'd had a pretty satisfying meal at the Busan Gijang Outlet branch before, so seeing a branch at Oslo Park in Yangsan made me happy and I went to check it out. Going during a late lunch hour meant it wasn't crowded, so I could eat quietly and at ease.
Where is Bueokgan Oslo Park, and where do you park?
Bueokgan is located at the main square of Oslo Park. You can use the Oslo Park parking lot. It's close to Namyangsan Station, just 800m from Exit 1, and it's easy to find since it's near Yangsan Pusan National University Hospital.

If you're coming from the B2 parking lot, take the escalator up and it's to the left; if you're walking in, take the escalator down from the 1st floor and it's also to the left.

A European-style dining room inspired by Sweden's Nationalmuseum
I thought the Yangsan branch of Bueokgan had a really distinctive atmosphere. It turns out the space was designed with inspiration from Sweden's National Museum of Fine Arts. The high ceilings paired with soft arch curves gave off quite an exotic vibe.

The vintage furniture and various objects brought in from Europe felt classic yet stylish.

The interior was European overall but not overly heavy, with a casual feel that made it comfortable. The tables also come in varied, generous spacing, so it didn't feel crowded while I ate, which I really liked.

Yes Kids Zone facilities and free corkage at Bueokgan
This place operates as a YES Kids Zone that welcomes children. One side of the restaurant is well equipped with baby chairs and baby dishes, and the space and layout are designed so families can dine comfortably, making it a great spot for family meals with kids in tow.
They also run a free corkage service — wine is corkage-free for up to 3 bottles, and from the 4th bottle onward it's ₩15,000 per bottle, so wine lovers might want to keep that in mind.
What we ordered at Bueokgan and what it cost
Orders are placed via tablet at each table. I saw a menu board at the entrance and snapped a photo of it. They have a wide range of Western dishes — pasta, pizza, risotto, and more.

- Basil pesto cream pasta ₩18,000
- Seafood tomato pasta ₩19,000
- Truffle mushroom pizza ₩22,000
Basil pesto cream pasta with egg yolk, 18,000 won
A rich basil pesto cream sauce pasta with an egg yolk plopped right in the center — it looked appetizing from the visual alone. Popping the yolk and mixing it into the sauce brought out even more savory depth. The fragrance of basil, the smoothness of the cream, and the savoriness of the yolk came together so well that I enjoyed it to the very last bite without getting tired of it.

Seafood tomato pasta, 19,000 won: how spicy is it really?
The seafood tomato pasta had a spicy marking on the menu, so I was secretly hoping for some heat, but it turned out not spicy at all, which was a bit disappointing. I also thought it would've been nicer if the sauce had soaked into the noodles a bit more. Still, with the seafood in it, the overall flavor was clean and pleasant.

Truffle mushroom pizza, 22,000 won
The truffle aroma spread the moment it hit the table, and it really got my appetite going. The chewy mushroom texture paired nicely with the cheese, so I enjoyed it a lot. Dipping the crust ends into the basil pasta sauce was so good.
