What kind of café is Mount Sunday?
Mount Sunday is a brunch café at 10-17 Hwahap 3-gil, Mulgeum-eup, Yangsan, Gyeongnam. It's open daily from 10:00 to 17:00 with last order at 16:00, and there's no dedicated parking lot, so the Hwangsan Village public parking lot is the way to go.

I went to Mount Sunday, a Yangsan brunch café famous for its pasta and gnocchi. It's a well-known brunch spot for generous portions of pasta and gnocchi that actually taste great, and the atmosphere is comfortable too, so it was perfect for a lunch date with my mom. The menu has plenty of variety — pasta, gnocchi and more — so it'd also be great to visit with a group and share a bunch of dishes!

Where to park near Mount Sunday
There were about 2 parking spots in front of the shop, and the Hwangsan Village public parking lot is nearby. We parked there and walked over — took about 3 minutes on foot~
Inside Mount Sunday: atmosphere and seating

Once you step inside, the space is bigger than you'd expect and has a cozy, warm feel overall. Tables range from two-seaters to group seating, so it seemed like a fine spot for dates as well as family meals or gatherings ♥

There are ingredients and little props placed here and there, and that unpolished, natural feel is part of what makes Mount Sunday special! I came with my mom, but it seemed like a comfortable place to eat with family or a partner alike. The interior is just so good ~ ~ ♡

How long is the weekday lunch wait?
We sat by the window near the entrance! We visited around 12:30pm on a weekday and the place was fully booked, so we had to wait about 10 minutes.

There's a self-serve corner near the entrance with cutlery, water, tissues, and pickles. They even had blankets and cushions ready — such a nice touch ,, ♥

Baby chairs are available too!
Mount Sunday menu and prices

There's so much variety I had a hard time deciding, but it turns out gnocchi is Mount Sunday's claim to fame~ ⭐️ Heads up, the sandwiches are ₩1,000 more than what's shown on the menu board above.
What we ordered at Mount Sunday
- Pumpkin cream gnocchi ₩17,000
- Eggplant ragu pasta ₩15,000
- Jambon-beurre sandwich ₩12,500

There's a QR code at each table for ordering from your phone. Scan it and a menu screen pops up, so you can take your time browsing and picking — really convenient.

After ordering, they brought us small plates and cutlery. Water is self-serve.
Jambon-beurre sandwich, 12,500 won

Crispy on the outside, chewy baguette on the inside, packed with a thick layer of ham and butter 〰️ The moment you bite in, the butter's savory flavor melts through, and the pairing with the salty ham was just so good ,,

Not an overpowering flavor, but clean and light while still keeping you reaching for more! Great for a light brunch, and even tastier paired with the pasta or gnocchi.
Pumpkin cream gnocchi, 17,000 won

The pumpkin cream gnocchi 🎃 that's supposedly famous at Mount Sunday — now I get why?!!! Chewy gnocchi dumplings sink into a thick, smooth pumpkin cream sauce. The pumpkin's gentle sweetness plus a nutty depth makes it seriously delicious!

The gnocchi is lightly seared on the outside for a nutty flavor, while the inside is fluffy yet chewy ♡ And most of all the sauce is so good that I kept eating one gnocchi, then scooping up more sauce, over and over •• *

Creamy, nutty •• and sweet — there's a reason Mount Sunday's gnocchi is famous, everyone!
Eggplant ragu pasta, 15,000 won

Big chunks of eggplant paired with a hearty, meat-filled ragu sauce! Made with short, thick pasta so the chewy noodles catch plenty of rich ragu sauce in between.

The eggplant soaks up the sauce and has this soft bite that's so good ,, the tomato's tanginess plus the meat's deep flavor makes it rich in umami without being greasy ♡
The noodles are thick too, so you really get to chew — even better mixed with the sauce 🥹 The ragu was generous and the portion was huge, so my mom and I both left completely full!!
Is Mount Sunday worth a visit?
Overall the portions were generous and every dish was delicious, so I left satisfied. If you're looking for a brunch spot with a great vibe in Yangsan, I'd recommend Mount Sunday 🏡
