Today I'm bringing a lunch date review with friends, no kids this time! I went to Bueokgan Restaurant Yangsan Oslo Park Branch in Yangsan. (Here's my honest review haha)
It had been a while since I'd met up with friends, and I wanted somewhere with a good atmosphere to chat and eat well — this place turned out to be exactly right as a brunch café near Yangsan Busan National University Hospital. Honestly, it exceeded expectations.

What Bueokgan Restaurant Yangsan Oslo Park Branch looks like inside
Bueokgan Restaurant Yangsan Oslo Park Branch is a Western restaurant on the basement floor of Oslo Park. The vibe felt different right from the entrance.

Known as a well-loved brunch café near Yangsan Busan National University Hospital, it's tucked inside Oslo Park, and the black-toned exterior was really sleek. The moment I walked in, the high ceilings and arched interior grabbed my attention right away.

Vintage furniture and props were scattered throughout, so it felt like I'd stepped into some café in Europe haha.

The tables also ranged from 4-seaters to 8-seaters, so it's really great for going with a group of friends.
How to order at Bueokgan and the corkage-free wine rules
You can order directly via tablet, and the staff were friendly too.

They also run a corkage-free service — up to 3 bottles of wine are free, and it's ₩15,000 per bottle from the 4th onward. Great to know if you're going with wine-loving friends.
What four friends ordered at Bueokgan, and what it cost
There were four of us, so we shared a bunch of things.
- Napa cabbage Caesar salad ₩16,000
- Basil pesto cream pasta ₩18,000
- Seafood tomato pasta ₩19,000
- Rocket prosciutto pizza ₩22,000
With four people, this amount was just right — we ate our fill without leftovers. Oh, and it's no secret that we also finished off the sweet pumpkin soup they gave us as a service item because the pizza came out a bit late haha.

One pizza, two kinds of pasta, plus one salad added on — that felt like just the right combination. If you're going with friends, I recommend ordering to share like this.

Napa cabbage Caesar salad, 16,000 won
The napa cabbage (al배추) Caesar salad had crisp, fresh cabbage you could really taste. The Caesar dressing wasn't overly heavy and was tossed cleanly, so it was perfect for cleansing the palate between the heavier dishes. The parmesan cheese and croutons were added in just the right amount, adding fun texture too.

Basil pesto cream pasta, 18,000 won
The basil pesto cream pasta looked delicious right away, with an egg yolk sitting on top of the rich basil pesto cream sauce. Popping the yolk and mixing it in with the sauce brought out even more savory depth. The fragrant basil, the smoothness of the cream, and the nuttiness of the yolk all came together, and I never got tired of it till the last bite.

Seafood tomato pasta and the free sweet pumpkin soup
The seafood tomato pasta had a slightly spicy kick and plenty of seafood, giving it an overall clean flavor.

The sweet pumpkin soup they gave us as a service item was sweet and really delicious!!
Arugula prosciutto pizza, 22,000 won
The rocket (arugula) prosciutto pizza had a really generous mound of rocket, and the combination of prosciutto and cheese wasn't too salty — just right.

Which seats at Bueokgan are best for photos?
There's a small garden out front, great for photos, and it seemed like a nice place to bring kids too. The restaurant is arranged around a courtyard near the entrance, so plenty of sunlight came in through the big windows.

The window seats are bright and open, while the seats near the arched pillars inside are cozy and quiet, great for chatting. We took a ton of photos with friends haha. If you're looking for a shot-worthy brunch café near Yangsan Busan National University Hospital, I highly recommend this spot.
