Italian restaurant in Guwol-dong, Incheon with a newborn: Withwich
In short
Withwich is a Blue Ribbon-listed Italian and brunch restaurant in Guwol-dong, Namdong, Incheon. The writer stopped by just before Saturday lunch with a 70-day-old baby after a postpartum checkup and ordered the Italian wood-fired pizza and pasta set for two (ricotta house salad, carbonara cream pasta, arugula ricotta cheese pizza), then added a basil shrimp pasta paid for out of pocket. A baby chair and a quiet corner table made the meal easy even with a baby under 100 days old, and the dough and cheese put Withwich at 1000% worth a return visit.

Withwich is a Blue Ribbon-badged restaurant in Guwol-dong, Incheon. It's already a proven spot with a constant line, the pizza has a distinctive flavor, and even the more unusual pastas never miss. The carbonara has that rich Italian cheese flavor — a genuine recommendation!

Withwich exterior and interior: what the space feels like
Days when we go to the Incheon Nonhyeon OB-GYN clinic double as date days out. After finishing my postpartum checkup, we visited Withwich, a well-known spot in Guwol-dong, Incheon.

The weather was bright and cool, so I wanted somewhere with a proper Western-food or brunch feel — and the slightly Italian-looking sign visible from a distance already lifted my mood.

We parked inside the building and it was right there on the corner as soon as we stepped out, so it wasn't hard to find.

Seeing the Blue Ribbon badge before even walking in made the trip from Incheon Nonhyeon all the way to Guwol-dong feel worth it :) Hoping this becomes a Guwol-dong go-to that saves you both time and money, we headed in.
The interior might feel a little old-fashioned at first glance, but I found it more charming for it. It reminded me of the burger or fast-food places from my childhood, and in an era saturated with chain stores, that kind of interior felt rare — somehow cozier. Less pressure, I guess.
There were plenty of tables inside, and even though we arrived just before Saturday lunch, there was already a wait forming. We might've been the last ones in before the wait started, haha. It really felt, in a very tangible way, that this wasn't just an ordinary Guwol-dong restaurant but a Blue Ribbon-verified one.

We sat under a lemon tree by the window — nice touch with the wall art too, right?

Where to sit with a baby at Withwich, and is there a baby chair?
For a Guwol-dong spot that's easy to visit with a baby, this corner is the one I recommend... haha. It felt a bit more spaced out from the other tables while still being cozy.

You order at the entrance where you came in, and there's a baby chair set up nearby too, so it's a place you can comfortably bring a baby to.

Choosing from the Withwich menu in Guwol-dong
When I went to the kiosk to order, there were recommended popular sets like this. Being such a busy, popular place, the menu turned out to have more options than I expected.

Known both as a brunch spot and a pasta place in Namdong, Incheon, and being an Italian restaurant with plenty of pizzas too, there's a lot to choose from — so they thoughtfully suggest popular menus and set menus for those who struggle to decide.

Sandwiches seem to be the main thing at Withwich, but once you're actually there, the pasta and pizza look so good you want to order everything. My recommendation: just go with the suggested combo above without overthinking it, and if you're curious, add either a sandwich or a pasta — that's a solid combination.
Or you can search on Naver, which pulls up real-time popular menus based on actual store payment data — pick from that and you really can't go wrong ^^
Italian wood-fired pizza and pasta set for two at Withwich
We came to Withwich, this Guwol-dong favorite, specifically craving wood-fired pizza and pasta, so we picked this set.

First came the ricotta house salad, which was clean and refreshing — perfect for whetting the appetite.

The cherry tomatoes and vegetables were fresh too, nice for a light bite before or after the meal.

Carbonara cream pasta at Withwich
For pasta, out of all the delicious-looking options, we picked the carbonara cream pasta (their signature dish).

Wow, honestly no words needed. It tasted almost identical to the rich, melted cheese flavor I remember from our honeymoon in Italy. The noodles were cooked excellently, not greasy at all, and the overall balance was great — good enough to hold its own against famous restaurants, with just that little extra edge. Pasta of a lifetime, honestly^^ Definitely coming back for this.
Arugula ricotta cheese pizza at Withwich
And we also picked the arugula ricotta cheese pizza! This place has quite a few dishes using arugula.

It looked like a medium size, but wow,,,,, one bite in and this was another total win.

Setting aside the distinct wood-fired flavor, the dough itself was on another level. Hard to describe, nothing quite like it — clean yet chewy in just the right way, and easy on the stomach!

The flavor balance was excellent too — I usually get bloated from flour, but after eating this Italian-style pizza, my stomach felt fine, just like when I actually ate pizza in Italy. Light yet flavorful, nothing to complain about.

It's kept its Blue Ribbon badge for 2025 and 2026. Honestly, it'd be strange if it didn't.
No greasiness either, so it was easy to eat by hand. Baby, a great dish to eat while wearing you in the baby carrier^^ The cheese was delicious too. We visited with a baby around 70 days old, and this would be a great spot for families with regular toddlers or elementary schoolers to eat out too.

On a whole different level from delivery pizza, that's for sure^^
Basil shrimp pasta, added and paid for out of pocket
Everything was so good, and while ordering, the basil pasta looked too tempting, so I added it on my own dime (self-paid).

The shrimp were plump, but more than that, this dish was clearly made with real intent as a basil pasta.. Genuinely surprising.

Slightly salty yet rich with basil flavor, and well controlled so it wasn't overdone — not greasy, and the basil scent wasn't overpowering either. It might look like aglio e olio, but it really came through as its own distinct basil oil pasta :) Five stars on this one too!

The main dishes were so good that our drinks became an afterthought... haha. Make sure to try them though — you really should! And now we've decided next time we'll come back for the perilla leaf sandwich and margherita pizza.
Is Withwich a good Guwol-dong restaurant to visit with a baby?
With such nice weather, we took a light walk outside after eating — and even the exterior design had a good vibe, so pretty much any random photo turned out well :)

With great taste, great service, and genuinely reasonable prices, this is a place we can't not come back to! We didn't feel any awkward looks even with a baby under 100 days old, and it's such a good pasta spot in Namdong, Incheon that we've decided to meet friends here in the future too.
