As soon as you walk in, the warm lighting and music give it a slightly Christmas, end-of-year feel, which made it feel even more fitting for a date or a gathering 🎄 When a fancy restaurant feels like too much but an ordinary place feels lacking, somewhere with good atmosphere where you can talk comfortably is perfect. So I'd recommend it for meals with friends, wedding invitation gatherings, anniversaries, or year-end get-togethers. It's already known as a popular spot in Daegu for wedding invitation meetups •• 💌

This particular table felt more cozy and separated (?), so I thought it'd be a good spot for a blind date •• I'd also recommend it as a blind-date spot in Samdeok-dong, Daegu 🫪

The wood tables were nice too, but I especially loved this red table! The color made the food look even more delicious 😚

Burnish Resto in Dongin-dong accepts reservations, so I'd especially recommend booking ahead if you're visiting with several people.

The bread that comes before the meal is focaccia, and it was warm and soft-fluffy, delicious dipped in olive oil 🥹 It's light yet savory, so it's a great little bite while waiting for the main dishes.

Gnocchi bites 16.0 in Comté cheese sauce

Seriously, seriously recommend this!!!! 😳🤍 The handmade gnocchi has an incredibly chewy texture, and the cheese sauce has great flavor — so delicious.

There's pistachio on top of the Comté cheese sauce, and it's savory and creamy with a hint of sweet-and-salty balance that keeps you coming back for more. It even had a bit of a tasty-cookie kind of flavor. I want to eat it again already ...... 🤤💭

White ragù 23.0 with house-made fresh pasta

Burnish Resto's white ragù uses handmade fresh noodles, so the texture of the noodle itself was clearly different from regular dried pasta 🫪🤍 It was chewy yet soft, and it paired beautifully with the homemade white ragù sauce.

The flavor of the meat and sauce was quite rich, yet nothing overwhelming about the dish overall, which I liked. Especially if you love noodles, I think you'll be satisfied with the distinctive chewy texture of fresh pasta. Recommended as a fresh-pasta spot in Daegu!

And the red cabbage salad is a hidden gem!! It pairs well with the mains and the tangy flavor is so good 🤍

Overall verdict: 🐶 Delicious. Do I need to say more..? It's been a while since I scraped the plate clean 😋
