Daejeon burger restaurant lunch after a workout: Burgiz Daeheung

Flavor beyond the original! I heard Burgiz, an American-style handmade burger spot in Daejeon, had newly opened in Daeheung-dong too. I fell for it after eating at the Tanbang(?) branch with a friend before, but it was too far from home to visit often 🥲 But... now that there is one in Daeheung-dong, I’m beyond excited~ I hurried over after my morning workout.

Burgiz Daeheung location and hours

It is on the first floor at 38 Daeheung-ro 139beon-gil, Jung-gu, Daejeon. It is open from 11:00 to 20:30, with last orders at 19:50.

From its eye-catching green sign to Burgiz’s distinctive, exotic interior, it has such a hip and stylish mood. Burgiz Daeheung has no break time, so you can stop by anytime for a warm, tasty burger 🍔

When I visited Burgiz in Daeheung-dong at lunchtime, customers just kept coming in. It seemed like nearby office workers were dropping by for lunch too! Handmade burgers are great for a meal with kids or a date, and since you can enjoy a quick, delicious meal, it is also perfect for dining solo 💯💯

A Daeheung-dong burger restaurant that was easy to visit with kids

Burgiz seems even more popular because of its trendy, atmospheric interior. Love handmade burgers and looking for a good Daeheung-dong restaurant? Then you simply have to try Burgiz, haha. They even thoughtfully set up a hand-washing area inside. Since I’m a mom who takes the kids everywhere, it was especially convenient to let them dig into burgers, wash their hands, and head out.

Burgiz menu and what we ordered

Burgiz’s signature items are the Hangover, Godfather, Mushroom, and Pepperoni Fries. There were also so many burgers with different ingredients, from cheeseburgers to burgers filled with crispy chicken.

Each table at Burgiz Daeheung has a QR code, so you can order and pay right from your seat—it was so convenient. You can order a set, but I ordered the burgers individually and added the signature Pepperoni Cheese Fries separately.

Burgiz’s burgers are not exactly cheap, but don’t think of them as ordinary fast-food burgers. The made-in-store menu and fresh ingredients taste so wholesome and fresh that one bite makes you want to come back 👍🏻

Pepperoni Cheese Fries and burger flavors

A flavor that cannot even be compared with regular fries 🤤 They were piled high with salty pepperoni, bacon crumble, mozzarella, nacho cheese, and red pepper—needless to say, the visuals were incredible!!

The wonderfully crisp Crispy Chicken Burger

I had been craving crispy chicken for days, so I ordered the Crispy Chicken Burger. Just as I expected, the chicken was pure crunch 🍗 With cabbage coleslaw and pickles inside, I could eat it without it feeling greasy.

The generously loaded Cheeseburger

My husband had eaten lunch early, so he said he would get the item that looked simplest. He ordered the Cheeseburger, but it did not look simple at all—so substantial! It comes with a beef patty, grilled onion, tomato, cheese, and Burgiz sauce.

My son finished the signature Hangover

The signature Hangover is huge, with a hash brown, a soft-cooked egg, a meat patty, and more—but it was so tasty that my son finished the whole thing! If you want rich, varied flavors, I highly recommend the signature Hangover~
