Tray jjajang for two

The tray jjajang came topped generously with perilla leaves! I think the leaves made it even better with their wonderful fragrance.

Fried dumplings and cream tangsuyuk together

Fried dumplings: ₩6,000. Crispy outside and moist inside, they were an unbeatable side dish. The kids ate them well too!

Crispy fried dumplings

Cream tangsuyuk: ₩25,000. Since we had children with us, we ordered the sauce separately, but they ate it so well that ordering it sauce-poured-on would have been fine too.

Cream tangsuyuk with sauce served separately

Nangman Jjajang uses beef tenderloin for its tangsuyuk, which may be why the meat was so tender. The cream sauce is topped with onion, corn, peas, and bell pepper. The cream sauce is really delicious!!

Cream-sauce tangsuyuk with vegetable toppings

The tender cream sauce and onions over the tangsuyuk were exactly my kind of thing.

Dumpling dipped in cream tangsuyuk sauce

Dipping the dumplings in the cream tangsuyuk sauce was delicious too!!
