Whenever I get a craving for Mexican food, I keep going back to this great spot near HUFS... and I went to Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch again! Haha. It isn't somewhere I tried once and forgot about—it’s the kind of HUFS-area favorite I return to whenever it pops into my mind lol. This time, I ordered the 2-person combo platter so we could enjoy lots of dishes at once -

Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch is a Mexican restaurant that’s great when you’re near HUFS and craving tacos or burritos -♥ Its exterior already has a casual feel, so it’s nice for an easy meal on a date or with friends haha. (HUFS students come here a lot on weekdays too!!)

The dining room was neatly arranged, with seats that work well for two as well as tables for bigger groups!! (And of course, takeout is possible too ★) The atmosphere isn’t overly formal, so I thought it was a great HUFS-area place to eat and chat comfortably!! haha

High chairs and blankets, all ready to go. Each table was neatly set with cutlery, bowls, water, and wet wipes as standard. Haha.

There are separate high chairs, plus blankets for chilly weather, so it seems like a good option for families visiting with a baby too!

I somehow had a strong image of Mexican restaurants as date spots, but the conveniences here are so well covered, and they offer an hour of free parking too... so it seemed perfectly fine for a family meal as well?? (I want to come back with my nephew haha)

What comes with the 2-person combo platter?
You order using the tablet at the table. Lol. I ordered the 2-person combo platter for ₩36,900!! It includes chipotle cream pasta, a chicken burrito, chicken and carnitas tacos, Buffalo wings, nacho chips and salsa, plus four sauces★ ((Such a solid spread))

Rather than focusing on just one dish, this is the perfect combination when you want to taste a little of lots of Mexican foods at a HUFS-area favorite!! Once every dish arrived, the table suddenly looked incredibly abundant hahaha.

A little bit of everything, from pasta to tacos and wings
I started with the chipotle cream pasta, which needs to be eaten while warm!! It comes on a grill plate, so it stays warm to the end, and the thick, smooth cream sauce has chipotle’s gentle spiciness added in, meaning it wasn’t rich in a cloying way at all!! (An absolutely supreme, ridiculously delicious sauce..)
I cut the chicken burrito into easy-to-eat pieces haha. The tortilla on the outside was soft, and it was generously filled with chicken and other ingredients, so even one piece was seriously filling!!!

Looking at the cross-section, it was packed without any empty gaps, so compared with expensive Mexican restaurants, this place felt like truly unbeatable value..★ The mild chicken and the textures of the various ingredients came together nicely, and alternating among the four sauces made the same burrito taste a little different each time haha.

Next up: the chicken taco and carnitas taco! My boyfriend and I each held up a taco and cheers, haha. Tacos just feel right when you eat them with your hands, don’t they? Fold one slightly to keep the filling from falling out, add sauce, then take a big bite—soooo good!! The two tacos taste different, so they’re also great for sharing one of each!!

The Buffalo wings were thoroughly seasoned with a salty-savory sauce and were the dish my boyfriend especially loved haha. The outside was generously coated in sauce while the chicken inside stayed moist, so we kept reaching for them throughout the platter hahaha.

Holding a Buffalo wing in one hand, we did another chicken cheers haha. The nacho chips were crunchy and nutty enough to eat on their own, but dipping them into the salsa or sauces made them even tastier with a tangy, salty kick! We had a nacho bite between the pasta and burrito, then a Buffalo wing bite after tacos, and ate well without getting tired of anything until the very end.

At first, there seemed to be so much food that I wondered if the two of us could finish it all, but as we kept picking at this and that, food feast completed hahaha.

If you want a date or a generous Mexican meal with a friend at a HUFS-area favorite, head to Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch~~~ ♥ (It’s my go-to Mexican spot.. haha)
