Today I came to Cham Dwaejitgan Cheonan Dujeong Branch, a great pork belly spot in Dujeong-dong, Cheonan! The staff grill the meat themselves, so you can eat comfortably—this would be so nice even with kids!!

A spacious, tidy interior

The restaurant was spacious and clean, so I thought it would be great for families or company dinners too! The neat interior made it even nicer to eat in comfort!!

Meat and side dishes

Meat is the main event, and there are plenty of side dishes too, which was great because we could try lots of different things!!

We wanted to try a variety, so we ordered one serving each of black pork neck, Boseong Nokdon pork belly, and Boseong Nokdon pork jowl. We also ordered margarine soy sauce egg rice, Jirisan arrowroot cold noodles, and two servings of fried rice!! We were hungry, so I was even more excited!

From banchan to grilled pork

When you order meat, lots of banchan (Korean side dishes) come out!! There were all kinds of seasoned sauces, salad, shredded scallions, wrap vegetables, kimchi, minari (water celery), and more, which I loved!! I think it is especially nice for anyone who loves vegetables, since you can eat them with the meat!

The meat came with potatoes, peppers, mushrooms, and more!

Cham Dwaejitgan uses rice husks together with charcoal, so they say the pork picks up a subtle smoky aroma as it grills!! I could taste that gentle smokiness, and it made the pork flavor come through even better!!

My favorite thing was that the staff grill the meat for you!! At Korean BBQ places, you can get so busy grilling, but here the staff do it, so it was wonderful to just eat comfortably. It was especially convenient and nice with kids!

Just looking at the pork made my mouth water—it looked so delicious!! I really loved being able to eat so comfortably!

I thought it was so delicious wrapped in perilla leaves with all kinds of vegetables!! It cut through the richness of the meat, and the pork was crisp outside and juicy inside, so the texture was great too!!

Pork wrapped in sliced potato

One distinctive thing at Cham Dwaejitgan is that they grill sliced potatoes, and they say it is delicious to wrap the meat in them!! Usually you make wraps with leafy greens, so wrapping it in potato here was so interesting, haha.

One bite!! It was so delicious!! It had a charm completely different from regular wraps. The potato slices were thin, and once fried in the oil, it tasted like wrapping the meat in a thick potato chip. I loved it so much that I ate more pork wrapped in potato than in the usual wraps!!! Totally recommended!! Potato lovers in particular will love this~

Egg rice, fried rice, and arrowroot cold noodles

Their margarine soy sauce egg rice is famous, so I ordered it. It came with two eggs, roasted seaweed flakes, and sesame seeds! It looked so delicious just looking at it ㅠㅠ

Mixed together, it was so delicious!! The kids ate it really well too!

When you visit a Korean BBQ restaurant, you cannot skip fried rice!! I love having fried rice for dessert, and they finely chopped the vegetables they had put on the grill earlier and fried them into it!! The staff took care of everything, so it was so nice to eat comfortably! The moment I took a bite, I thought, ah, everything here is delicious~ I practically inhaled the fried rice too, haha.

The Jirisan arrowroot cold noodles were so delicious too!! They gave us vinegar and mustard to suit our tastes, but I thought they were delicious even as they were! Finishing with something cold made the meal feel especially refreshing!

The noodles were chewy and truly delicious!! More than anything, not having to grill the meat myself was much more convenient than I expected. If you are looking for a Korean BBQ restaurant in Dujeong-dong, I recommend Cham Dwaejitgan Cheonan Dujeong Branch!! You can enjoy meat comfortably, and the interior is clean and spacious, so I think it would be great for families or company dinners too!!!
