Adult comedy play in Seoul: Suspicious PT Shop at Nine Theater
In short
Suspicious PT Shop is an adults-only comedy play at Nine Theater near Hyehwa Station in Jongno, Seoul. I watched the roughly 80-minute show close to the performers and enjoyed the shared laughs, though its actual undressing scene means it is best chosen by people comfortable with this genre.

Where is the theater, and what are the viewing conditions?
I usually watch romantic comedies, mysteries, and comedy plays in Daehangno. This time, curious about a different kind of show, I watched Suspicious PT Shop at Nine Theater near Hyehwa Station.
The theater's address is 서울특별시 종로구 대학로8가길 30. It was easy enough to find using Hyehwa Station. According to the performance information I checked, the running time was about 80 minutes and the age rating was 19 and over. It is a good idea to check that day's showtime and viewing conditions again before booking.

Suspicious PT Shop is a comedy play for adult audiences. I was curious about its atmosphere, and after seeing it, I found it mixed adult themes with many situations designed to make the audience laugh.

What did I look at while waiting to enter?
The theater was downstairs. From the entrance onward, the atmosphere suited the title and made me curious about how the show would begin.

Before entering, I looked around the posters on the theater walls. They gave me a sense of the show's mood before it began.

After receiving my ticket, I looked at the poster too. Seeing the ticket and poster made the adult-comedy genre feel more real.

There was also an introduction to the actors, and I could drink coffee while waiting outside.

I had an iced Americano while I waited too.

What was enjoyable about the close small-theater stage?
The story comically unfolded situations between men and women in the familiar setting of a PT shop. The actors made use of the small theater's proximity to the audience, so I could immediately see their expressions and reactions. It felt slightly awkward at first, but as the show went on amid the audience's shared laughter, I became naturally absorbed in it.

Before the show, I also looked at photos of the actors. Since it was my first adult play, I looked forward to seeing what kind of stage it would be.

After entering the theater, I waited while looking at the stage before the actors came out.

How was it for watching with a partner or friends?
What I found fun was talking over the scenes with the person I watched it with even after the performance ended. I thought it could work for couples wanting a different experience from dates centered on meals and cafés, or for close friends interested in adult comedy.

At about 80 minutes, the performance did not feel overly long to me. There are many restaurants and cafés around the theater, so I thought it would be easy to plan a meal or a cup of tea before or after the show.

Is there anything to know in advance because it is an adult performance?
The atmosphere was different from that of a typical romantic comedy. People going together may enjoy it if they are interested in this genre too, but it is best to make the choice knowing that it is an adult performance.

To give away a little of the content, I was surprised by a scene in which someone actually takes off their clothes. I laughed at the comedy elements throughout, and at the performance I watched, there was also a part where gifts were given out.

For me, it remains an experience of laughing while watching the actors up close and talking about it after the show. If adult comedy suits your taste, it could be an option for spending a different kind of time in Hyehwa.
