I thought I'd just browse pop-ups in Seongsu, but this time my friend and I tried something different 🔥 We were both due for a new phone case, and I'd always wanted to make one from a photo of Mochi, so we headed to Casedby Seongsu (케이스드바이 성수점), a popular workshop-style date spot in Seongsu.
Casedby Seongsu is an easy walk from Seongsu Station, and the process is really simple, so it's perfect for a quick stop while you're out in Seongsu. Best of all, your case is done about 2 minutes after payment! We both made one and there was almost no waiting, which made it even better (super fun 🔥)

There isn't just one type of case at Casedby Seongsu: you can pick between a clear TPU case and a MagSafe case. It works for Galaxy as well as iPhone, so you can visit whatever phone you have ♥️

My friend and I both made cases at Casedby Seongsu, and each took about 2 minutes. This speed was the most surprising part. Production starts as soon as you finish paying, and it's honestly over so quickly.
It's quick enough to drop in before browsing pop-ups or heading to a café in Seongsu, so there was no time pressure at all. Watching the case being made was fun too, so even the waiting wasn't boring. We took photos, lol
My custom case with Mochi's photo 🤍
At Casedby Seongsu, I used a photo of Mochi in sunglasses as the main image and added a pink ribbon to finish a one-of-a-kind case! I just couldn't not put Mochi on it 😂
The photo came out sharp and the colors looked lovely, so I swapped it onto my phone right when I got it. My friend was so happy with the family-photo case too, and we kept browsing cases and taking tons of photos ♥️
Browsing the keyrings and straps at Casedby Seongsu
I thought Casedby Seongsu only sold cases, but it also has a wide range of keyrings and straps. From ribbon keyrings to characters, beads and food shapes, there's a huge variety, so browsing was a lot of fun.
I figured they'd look even cuter paired with a case, so I ended up looking around for a good while. If you like Seongsu goods, it's a nice place to look around together.
