Forest Jeongbang is an ocean-view café in Donghong-dong, Seogwipo-si, Jeju, right near Jeongbang Waterfall. Today I want to recommend a Seogwipo café I loved from a recent Jeju trip with my dad :) We'd just finished looking around Jeongbang Waterfall and it was so hot we went looking for somewhere cool — and this café turned out to be a great find!

It's such a pretty café where you can take in the blue Jeju sea and the green pine forest at a glance, so I really recommend it as a Seogwipo café haha 🌳🌊

Palm trees, the ocean-view photo zone and parking at Forest Jeongbang

Before you even go into the café, if you look between the first-floor annex buildings, a wide-open view of the Jeju sea and green palm trees opens up — it was so pretty 🌊 Out front, cute Pokémon plush toys like Pikachu, Squirtle and Farfetch'd were charmingly arranged with tangerine props, making it a perfect photo zone 🍊

This Seogwipo café, Forest Jeongbang, has a spacious dedicated parking lot right in front, so you don't need to worry about parking at all! Even inexperienced drivers can park comfortably before heading in. Since it's right near Jeongbang Waterfall, it's a great Seogwipo café to stop by briefly before or after sightseeing :)

A completely gentle, adorable dog greeted us in the parking lot! So cute ㅠㅠ🐶 Its fur was soft when I petted it, and it was such an affectionate cutie that we ended up playing with it for quite a while before going in haha

How do you order at Forest Jeongbang?

Forest Jeongbang's menu ⬆️ Once you step inside, there's an easy-to-read menu board and a showcase filled with sweet desserts 🍰 Ordering and paying are simple through the kiosk set up beside it! You can see photos of the menu items too, which made choosing easy.

Inside Forest Jeongbang: 1st-floor annex and 2nd-floor sea views

As soon as we stepped in, the powerful air conditioning felt so good — it made me not want to leave haha. The 1st floor has a separate, spacious annex, which is perfect for those coming in groups or looking for a large, comfortable space to chat.

If you want the wide-open ocean view at Forest Jeongbang, the 2nd floor is where to go! After ordering on the 1st floor, follow the stairs up and you'll find a breathtaking ocean view through the huge floor-to-ceiling windows 🌊 Forest Jeongbang's 2nd floor is truly the spot for that ocean view ..🩵

How do the Jeongbang Waterfall latte, Americano and tangerine cake taste?

Jeongbang Waterfall latte / Americano / tangerine cake — I ordered the signature Jeongbang Waterfall latte, a refreshing Americano, and a super cute-looking tangerine cake! I took a window seat on the 1st floor overlooking the lush green garden, and once I got my order, the view outside made for really pretty photos. They thoughtfully threw in a mini yakgwa (honey cookie) on the house too, which was perfect to enjoy alongside the drinks 🤍

🌊 The Jeongbang Waterfall latte is a nutty, smooth pistachio-based latte! It's topped with a chewy, sweet-and-slightly-bitter cream, giving it a rich flavor that was totally my style!

☕️ The Americano was clean with no sourness, making it a perfect match with the sweet cake!

🍊 The tangerine cake was even better with fresh tangerine pieces studded throughout! It wasn't heavy, thanks to the soft whipped cream, and the bursts of tangy tangerine juice made it a sweet cake that hit the spot haha. It wasn't overly sweet, so I could enjoy it all the way to the end without getting tired of it~!

If you want to feel that peaceful, laid-back Jeju vibe, I recommend this Seogwipo café, Forest Jeongbang 🌊 It's a Seogwipo café where you can enjoy delicious coffee, sweet desserts and ocean views all at once!
