Group lunch box pickup in Seogwipo, Jeju: beef brisket bowls at Jejju
In short
Jejju Seogwipo New Town Branch is a Korean lunch box restaurant in Seogwipo New Town, Jeju, serving lunch boxes, rice bowls and sushi for takeout and delivery. The writer pre-ordered a beef brisket rice bowl (usamgyeop deopbap) for 10,800 won and a Jungmun lunch box for 14,800 won to eat at the accommodation, picking both up on the way, and found the seasoning mild and the boxes well filled. With everyone able to pick a different dish and share, Jejju is worth saving as a group lunch box order in Jeju.

When you're traveling around Jeju, finding a restaurant to sit down at every single meal can honestly become a chore. Especially on days when you've packed the schedule full and just want to get back to your accommodation, sometimes you just want to grab something delicious to go and eat comfortably.

That's why, instead of eating out for a long time, we picked up lunch boxes from Jejju Seogwipo New Town Branch to enjoy comfortably back at our accommodation :)

Eating Jejju lunch boxes at the accommodation: portion size and seasoning
I packed this to eat comfortably at our accommodation during our Jeju trip. The menu composition was more substantial than I expected, and the portions were generous, so I was satisfied. There were also a variety of side dishes, making it a filling meal. Overall, the seasoning wasn't too strong, so it was easy to eat without feeling weighed down.

Most of all, as a traveler, being able to pre-order and pick it up on the way was really convenient.

The packaging was also neat, making it easy to carry back to the accommodation. Eating out at a restaurant every single time you travel can get surprisingly tiring, so getting a boxed meal like this saved us time too.

Worth trying for anyone traveling with kids or anyone who wants to eat comfortably at their accommodation with a Jeju lunch box menu. The value for the price was good, and I'd order again.

If you're staying somewhere around Seogwipo, or looking for a group lunch box menu in Jeju that several people can eat together, this might be worth checking out too.

Beef brisket rice bowl, 10,800 won: a full meal straight from the box
We ordered two things this time: the beef bulgogi rice bowl for ₩10,800 and the Jungmun lunch box for ₩14,800. First up, the beef bulgogi rice bowl!
There was a generous amount of thinly sliced beef belly (usamgyeop) piled on top of the rice, so it was fine as a meal on its own without needing extra side dishes. It was slightly salty with a savory richness from the meat's fat that paired well with the rice — a good pick when you want a hearty meal while traveling. Personally, I sometimes find it a bit much when a lunch box has too many components crammed in, but the beef bulgogi rice bowl felt just right — open it up and eat right away!
Jungmun lunch box, 14,800 won: jjukkumi octopus, bulgogi and fried sides in one
And then the one I was more excited about — the Jungmun lunch box for ₩14,800.

Instead of just one dish, you get to eat several things together, which made it perfect for taking out while traveling. It came with baby octopus, bulgogi, and even some fried items, so if you like eating a little bit of everything, I'd recommend going for the Jungmun lunch box.

Is Jejju a good place for a group lunch box order in Jeju?
It seemed especially good for when family or friends travel together — everyone orders a different item and shares. So if you're looking for a place to order group lunch boxes in Jeju, Jejju looked like a solid option. Beyond lunch boxes, there's a wide range of rice bowls and sushi to choose from depending on preference, which makes it a bit easier to match everyone's tastes even in a large group.

Why picking up Jejju takeout on the way to the accommodation was easy
When you're traveling around Jeju, wandering around from morning onward, your energy really drops by evening. At that point, instead of waiting in line at some famous restaurant or hunting for a place to eat, I honestly prefer just picking up food on the way to the accommodation.
We took our lunch boxes back, spread them out, and ate comfortably at our accommodation — and that was its own kind of fun on the trip :) The Seogwipo New Town area in particular was easy to stop by while passing through, so it was convenient to pick up in the middle of our itinerary or on the way back to the accommodation.
If you're a traveler who needs a group lunch box order in Jeju, or you're on a family trip and looking for a takeout menu that several people can share, give Jejju Seogwipo New Town Branch a try. From simple, hearty options like the beef bulgogi rice bowl to the Jungmun lunch box where you can taste several things at once, there was something to fit different tastes.

Next time I spend a whole day wandering around Seogwipo and want a comfortable dinner back at my accommodation, I think I'll go for a lunch box pickup like this again :)
