Seogwipo kids' café with blueberry yogurt smoothie: Forest Jeongbang

While traveling around Jeju, I stopped near Jeongbang Waterfall looking for a café to rest at for a bit, and that's how I ended up at Forest Jeongbang :)

It's close to Jeongbang Waterfall so it was great for a coffee break after sightseeing, and the space was bigger than I expected with a view all the way to the Jeju sea, so I wanted to recommend it as a Seogwipo café.

Being near Jeongbang Waterfall makes it easy to fit into your itinerary, and there's parking right next to the store, which was convenient for a Jeju trip where we were getting around by car.

You order on the first floor and then head up to the second floor, where the sea view outside the window really made it feel like Jeju. It's fine to visit with kids like we did, and it's also worth checking out if you're looking for a dog-friendly café in Seogwipo.

☕ What we ordered at Forest Jeongbang and what it cost

We got three things: an Americano for 5,000 won, a Valrhona chocolate rice cake for 7,500 won, and a blueberry double yogurt smoothie for 8,000 won! The Americano was a solid, easy pairing with dessert. And what I was really looking forward to was the Valrhona chocolate rice cake!

It's a rice cake instead of a regular flour-based one, so I was curious and picked it — the chocolate flavor was rich, and it paired really well with the coffee.

Is the blueberry double yogurt smoothie good for kids?

It's priced at 7,500 won, and besides this menu, Forest Jeongbang also has rice cakes made with Udo peanuts or Jeju tangerine. Since I visited with my kid, I also ordered the blueberry double yogurt smoothie, priced at 8,000 won!

It's a smoothie with the tangy-sweet flavor of yogurt plus blueberry, so it seems like a good option if you can't drink coffee or just like sweet, cold drinks.

🌊 A café to stop at right after Jeongbang Waterfall

Personally, I think Forest Jeongbang's biggest strength was its location.

After walking around Jeongbang Waterfall, you end up doing quite a bit of walking, and if Jeju weather is hot, you want to sit down and rest for a bit. It's nice being able to do that without traveling far, having coffee and dessert while still looking out at the sea.

Second-floor window seats and the ocean-view terrace

There are window seats and sofa seats on the second floor, and you can also see the sea from the outdoor terrace, so on a nice day it was great to slowly rest while taking in the view. Rather than going out of your way just for the café, it feels like a good spot to combine with a Jeongbang Waterfall or downtown Seogwipo itinerary!
