Daegu hair salon for layered mid-length cut and C-curl: Iggeulrida
In short
Iggeulrida is a one-person hair salon on the first floor of the Casa Milla complex in Sincheon-dong, Daegu. I had a layered mid-length cut, straightening, and a C-curl perm to reduce my daily styling time, and liked the lighter length and neatly settled ends. The basement parking entrance felt narrow.

After giving birth, I experienced a lot of hair loss and had little time for hair care while raising my child. I wanted to shorten my long hair a little and reduce the styling effort, so I got a layered mid-length cut, straightening, and a C-curl perm at Iggeulrida (이끌리다) in Sincheon-dong, Daegu.
Where is Iggeulrida, and how do reservations and parking work?
Iggeulrida is in units 114 and 115 of Building 101 in the Sincheon Station Casa Milla retail complex, at 29 Dongbu-ro, Dong-gu, Daegu. It is next to a coin laundry on the first floor, so it was not difficult to find.

The hours listed in the original post are 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM from Monday through Saturday, with Sundays closed. Reservations are prioritized, so it is best to use Naver Booking before visiting.

You can use the building's basement parking lot. The entrance is across from the salon and may be a little confusing to locate at first. The driveway is also fairly narrow, so I felt public transportation would be more convenient for inexperienced drivers.
What are the waiting area and amenities like?
The interior was generally clean and well organized.

There was a sofa for waiting, which made it comfortable to sit before or during the service.

It is a one-person salon run by the owner, with three styling chairs.

The shampoo room was toward the back of the salon, and I was able to have my hair shampooed comfortably.

A water dispenser, coffee machine, and several drinks were available.

I used the shared restroom in the retail complex. It was clean, so there was no inconvenience in using it.

How was my request for less styling time reflected?
Once seated, we first discussed the style I wanted and the condition of my hair. I explained that, while caring for a baby, it was hard to spend much time managing my hair, and the style was designed with that in mind so it would not require extensive styling. I liked that the consultation considered my daily life.

The service began by cutting the length. My hair had been quite long and I had not been able to care for it well. I had also lost a lot of hair after giving birth, so this time I wanted to shorten it rather than keep it long.

After the layered mid-length cut, my neck area felt much lighter. I had worn my hair tied up most of the time, but simply shortening it made it feel fresher.

Why did I get straightening before the C-curl perm, and what was the add-on?
My hair is naturally wavy, so frizz can be more noticeable when I cut it short. After the cut, I had straightening to smooth out the existing waves and settle the hair.

As the straightening made the appointment longer, I was given a drink and snacks. I could choose from coffee, an isotonic drink, or juice.

At the time of my visit, I could also get straightening by adding ₩30,000 to the C-curl perm. Since I was debating whether to get straightening because of my waves, this reduced the burden for me. However, this post does not separately state the base price of the C-curl perm or the total service cost.

How did the layered mid-length cut with a C-curl feel?
After smoothing out my waves with straightening, I had the C-curl perm. Rather than strong curls, I wanted a style where the ends naturally curve inward.

Adding layers and a C-curl to the mid-length cut made my hair look naturally settled instead of falling bluntly. The length became much shorter, but the layers made it look lighter, while the ends gained a soft curl.

After getting both the cut and straightening, I especially liked how much calmer and neater it looked than before.

Did I also receive guidance for styling at home?
After the service, I was shown step by step which direction to dry my hair and how to blow-dry it to bring out the C-curl. Since I am not used to styling my hair and cannot spend much time on it, it was helpful to receive guidance I could follow myself.
