I had lunch at Burnish Resto (버니쉬레스토), a Western restaurant in Dongin-dong, Daegu. I tried the anchovy bottarga and amatriciana pasta, and dipped the bread served with the meal in olive oil.

- Hours: 12:00–21:00
- Break time: 15:00–17:00

What were the interior and entrance like?
The interior felt cozy yet modern. Wooden tables and chairs filled the space, while large windows let in natural light and kept it bright.

The exterior is a red-brick building, and the entrance stood out with its touches of green. There was also a small table in front of the restaurant. Overall, it felt comfortable and suitable for meeting friends over a meal.

What was on the menu, and what came with the meal?
The menu included appetizers, salads, steak, and pasta, along with wine and drinks.

Freshly baked bread came with the meal. It was soft inside and golden on the outside, and tasted good dipped in olive oil.

Refreshing pickles were also served, and I ate them alongside the pasta.

How were the anchovy bottarga and amatriciana pasta?
The anchovy bottarga pasta I ordered had chewy noodles and a deep, rich sauce. The flavor tasted fresh, so I kept reaching for another bite.

The amatriciana pasta had a strong tomato sauce flavor. The basil leaves on top added a fragrant note, and the noodles were also cooked with a pleasantly chewy texture.

How were the lunch pace and service?
During my lunch visit, the food came out quickly, and the staff were friendly. The atmosphere was good for having an unhurried conversation, and I felt the music suited the space. I liked the pasta texture and the interior, so I would like to visit again.
