Quiet Cheonan bakery café with slide and seesaw: Geurimseu Cafe

I went back to Geurimseu Cafe, a bakery brunch café in Dongnam-gu, Cheonan. I really visit this café a lot — it's in a quiet spot so you can relax and heal there, and the seats are spaced wide apart so it really feels like a little getaway. It's even better because they have all kinds of bakery items on top of the brunch menu. Cheonan bakery brunch café Geurimseu, let's go!

Geurimseu Cafe's address is 232 Mijuk 5-gil, Dongnam-gu, Cheonan-si, Chungcheongnam-do, and it's open daily from 10:00 to 21:30, with last order at 20:30. Brunch hours are 11:00 to 18:00.

There's plenty of parking space in front of and below the store, so parking is easy.

A great outdoor space for kids, with a slide and seesaw

The outside of Geurimseu Cafe is a wide open space with a small slide and even a seesaw for kids, making it a great café to visit with children.

The spacious outdoor area and the terrace seating behind the café building are also super popular spots.

A large café that's still quiet, thanks to planter-divided seating

Little props and photo spots that kids would love, plus a wide indoor space. Clean and tidy. With high ceilings, bright light and an open feel, it's a café that gives off a comfortable vibe.

With all kinds of seating types and spaces that are divided up, noise is reduced, so it stays fairly quiet even though it's a large bakery café.

Lush green plants are everywhere, and with greenery placed between seats, each table feels like its own separate, independent space, which I love.

There are baby chairs too, so it's great for coming with kids and also great for enjoying brunch. A café I love for its spacious layout and comfortable seating 🌷 This is the spot I sit at the most.

Geurimseu Cafe drinks, brunch menu and discounts

The menu: Americano ₩6,000, café latte ₩6,500, Geurimseu butter latte ₩7,500. As a special event, drinks are ₩2,000 off with a brunch order (stackable with points too), points accrue at 5% regardless of discounts, local college students get 10% off drinks, and writing a review gets you a salt bread rusk. Good stuff!

So many kinds of brunch dishes!!! My favorites here are the ricotta salad, gorgonzola pizza, and vongole pasta! Since it's summer, they're also selling injeolmi (rice cake) bingsu (shaved ice dessert) and mango bingsu 💕

There are also kids' drinks and cakes. Plenty of bakery variety too 👍

The taste of wood-fired gorgonzola pizza and Americano

Today's order: gorgonzola pizza ❤️, iced Americano, hot Americano.

The Americano is good because the coffee amount is just right for once. If it's too little, that's disappointing, you know!! 🙏🙏 It has a nice balance of moderate acidity and nuttiness. It's more of a smooth Americano flavor than a sharp one ✨️

The gorgonzola pizza baked in the wood-fired oven has rich, salty, nutty pizza cheese all blended together, and the dough that comes out of the oven has such a crispy yet chewy texture — so delicious.

Dip the salty gorgonzola pizza right into the honey and it's the perfect sweet-and-salty combo, then finish it off cleanly with the Americano. This right here is healing ♡

Every time I come here, I feel healed by this comfortable café. It's great to come with kids, and great to visit with friends too. A place with tasty brunch dishes and a variety of bakery items. One of my favorite cafés in Cheonan ♡ Geurimseu Cafe, a picture-perfect space.
