Chicken Light (vegetables only) with sriracha mayo / Smoked duck cauliflower rice with wasabi mayo
Hi, this is Anjani! Lately, while managing my diet, I still want to eat a tasty meal, so I've been looking up protein boxes a lot.

This time I visited Waiseutabeu, a shop that's newly opened in Gagyeong-dong, Cheongju! If you're looking for salads or diet meals in Gagyeong-dong, this one's worth keeping an eye on.

What's on the menu at Waiseutabeu Diet, a new protein box shop in Gagyeong-dong, Cheongju
Waiseutabeu Diet Cheongju Gagyeong Branch has a variety of menus that let you get salad and protein in one go. There's a menu board in front of the shop, so I could see what was available before going in.

I stood outside looking over the menu for a while, and there were more options than I expected.

You can choose your main topping, from chicken breast to smoked duck, and customize the combination to your taste, which seems great for anyone who's gotten tired of eating the same salad every time.

The interior was clean and tidy overall, so my first impression was good.

It really has the feel of a rising protein box spot in Gagyeong-dong these days!

On top of that, you can get a free drink by taking part in the review event, which was a nice little bonus.

How filling is the Chicken Light (vegetables only) with sriracha mayo?
The first menu I picked was the Waiseutabeu Chicken Light with vegetables only, paired with sriracha mayo sauce.

At first I thought, 'vegetables only might feel a bit light,' but once I opened the lid, it was much more filling than I expected.
There was a generous layer of fresh vegetables underneath, topped with a hearty amount of chicken breast, so it looked satisfying too.

The chicken breast in particular was really tender. There was no dry or chewy feeling — it was quite moist, so eating it together with the vegetables didn't feel mismatched in texture at all.

Adding a bit of sriracha mayo on top made it savory with a spicy kick at the finish, so it was much more enjoyable to eat. It wasn't just a plain salad — the sauce gave the flavor a nice accent, so I didn't get tired of it until the end.

The vegetables were more plentiful than I expected too — at first I thought it might be mostly vegetables, but as I ate, I really felt this was a proper salad box.

It's good for days when you want to eat light, and thanks to the chicken breast, it was quite filling too.

Smoked duck cauliflower rice with wasabi mayo: how does it taste?
Second, I ordered the Waiseutabeu smoked duck cauliflower rice with the wasabi mayo combo.

This menu felt a bit more substantial. The smoked duck had its own salty, savory flavor, so it didn't taste bland even with the vegetables, and with the cauliflower rice included, the overall texture was quite interesting.

Cauliflower rice instead of regular rice made it feel lighter while still keeping a good chew, which was nice for eating while managing my diet.

With the mild flavor of the mayo added on top, it made the smoked duck even more enjoyable to eat. Along with the protein, there were vegetables and cauliflower rice, too, so after finishing the meal it was more filling than expected.
Neat packaging and a well-filled takeout box

The smoked duck and wasabi mayo combo in particular really worked well together! The distinctive sharp kick of wasabi cut through the duck's richness, so I could eat it without it feeling greasy, in a clean way.

I had it as takeout that day, and the packaging was neatly done. When I opened the lid, the contents hadn't shifted around, and each ingredient was arranged nicely, so I was satisfied from the moment I received it. Above all, I liked that it wasn't just eating vegetables — it felt like a proper meal that covered both protein and vegetables.

The chicken breast was moist and tender, the smoked duck had great flavor, the vegetables were plentiful, and the sauce combos matched well too, so overall the balance was good. You don't have to eat only bland food just because you're dieting! If you're looking for a salad restaurant, a diet meal, or a protein box in Gagyeong-dong, Cheongju, Waiseutabeu is worth a visit. I'm at 200% for a revisit since I want to try different combos next time!
