Cheonan brunch café for prosciutto open sandwiches: Siyudang

Today is brunch day with my husband~ We visited Siyudang, a brunch café in Cheonan~

A Cheonan brunch café I visited for the second time

The brunch is so good that this was already my second visit^^ The café is so spacious too, so I think it would be great for a gathering~

From pizza to pasta, risotto, steak, and more... there are so many brunch choices that everyone can pick to suit their taste^^

We came early, but as you'd expect from a Cheonan brunch favorite~ there were already quite a few guests. My expectations were sky-high!!!

Desserts as varied as the brunch

I thought only the brunch menu would be varied, but there were so many desserts too—cakes, financiers, croissants, and more. Just looking at them made my mouth water...

On the first floor, there are blankets as well as a self-service packing station and even a microwave, so it is easy to use~

Why I chose the prosciutto open sandwich

Since it is a Cheonan brunch café, we had to order brunch, right!? There are three brunch dishes in all~ a brunch platter, shrimp open sandwich, and prosciutto open sandwich. I wondered what to order, then chose the prosciutto open sandwich because I wanted to try something a little special and new; both the name and look were unfamiliar to me^^

Second- and third-floor seating, plus a rooftop photo zone

I wanted to photograph the café, but because there were so many guests... I could only photograph empty seats~ The tables are on the second and third floors, and the second floor has floor-seating tables, where lots of visitors with children were sitting~

After wandering around~ we claimed a seat with a lovely view, then off we went to look around the café~~

Siyudang's absolute main highlight!!! The rooftop, of course^^ Sadly, it rained a little on the day we visited, so the weather was gloomy... sob sob. But it was so pretty in person. I think it would have been even prettier in bright, sunny weather!!

As you walk among the colorful red, yellow, and pink flowers, you can find a pretty windmill and photo zone~

There is another lovely photo zone here too, so I think photos would turn out so cute with little ones sitting here!!! If you are visiting with a baby~ don't forget to head up to the rooftop and get that perfect life shot~

A tray that made carrying our food to the third floor easy

Ta-da~~ Our order came out. We ordered lots of things and were sitting on the third floor... so I was worried about how to carry it all up, but there were trays at one side of the café, which made it so convenient. Having these trays was seriously handy~ Such a thoughtful owner~

A spread that makes your mouth water just looking at it...!!

Gorgonzola pizza with honey and cheese sauce

You can't go wrong with Gorgonzola pizza—it is savory and delicious whenever you eat it~ They give you honey and cheese sauce for dipping, so you can enjoy it however you like^^ Maybe because the pizza uses dough that Siyudang makes and ferments itself~ it was definitely easier to digest than other flour-based foods~

An open sandwich with a distinctive flavor I kept thinking about

Here is the prosciutto open sandwich!! It was actually my first time ordering it, so there was a chance it might not work out... but it looked delicious, so I gave it a try. I wondered how I should eat it, then cut it in half and held it in my hands~~

I'm a bit of a picky eater... so the vegetable-heavy look made me hesitate slightly, but I was honestly so surprised after one bite!!! It was a flavor I'd never had before, and it was intriguingly delicious~ The distinctive sauce was so good and fit the flavors so perfectly that I keep thinking about this dish~ I heard all the sauces for the meal dishes are made in-house... It was on another level from ordinary brunch~

Fluffy cheesecake that melts away

Such a soft cheesecake!!! It was so fluffy that it melted right away in my mouth, haha. This was so delicious too!!!

Brunch? Check~ Dessert? Check~ Siyudang has nothing lacking!!! It was a simple brunch, but we ate until we were bursting^^
