60-min cream aroma massage at Puan Massage, a Cheonan spa

I had some extra time during a trip to Cheonan, so I looked around for a massage shop and ended up at Puan Massage Dujeong Branch. Let me introduce this spa with its clean, pleasant treatment rooms and friendly owner.

Location and entrance of Puan Massage Cheonan Dujeong Branch

Puan Massage is on the 4th floor of the building. You take the elevator up, and when you reach the entrance and press the bell, they open the door right away.

You can see the plants are well cared for too, haha.

There's an explanation about the yamong cream used in the massages, along with info on the sleep service available if you choose a 90-minute course or longer (checkout at 10am / ₩10,000 fee) and therapist choice (extra fee).

Choosing a course through Naver Reservation

I booked through Naver and it was convenient because I could check the exact price for each course beforehand.

If you go into Naver Place, the prices are laid out clearly like this, and if you click into each booking menu item, the price shows up too.

The 60-minute course came in three types: Thai, Aroma, and Cream Aroma.

The stone massage, only available with the 90-minute course, was something I'd tried once during postpartum massage care and it was amazing. This was the first time I'd seen it offered at a regular massage shop, so I wanted to try it, but my schedule that day was a bit too tight, ugh. So I just went with the Cream Aroma Massage from the 60-minute course, choosing the Vitamin Cream Care option. This was also the first time I'd seen vitamin cream care included in a massage at Puan Massage!

Private room and starting with a foot bath

Once you choose your course, they guide you to a private room.

For the vitamin cream care, you need to undress and put on a robe. They also provided disposable underwear.

After changing into the robe,

following the instructions, you start with the foot bath.

While your feet soak in the warm water they've prepared,

they also serve you a cup of tea. The therapist comes to gently wash your feet, then you move to the massage room.

Heated massage bed and pressure adjustment

Puan Massage's massage bed has a heating function, so it's warm. Since it's a full-body massage you have to undress, which can feel a bit chilly, but the warm bed made it nice, haha. They cover your body with a large towel and only uncover the exact part they're working on. Each private room has its own air conditioner, so if you ask them to adjust the temperature to your liking, they will. At first the pressure felt a bit gentle and careful, but when I asked for it stronger, they kept it strong the rest of the way, lol. Everyone has different preferences, so communicating with the therapist really does make a difference in how satisfied you end up.

How was the vitamin cream care?

This was my first time getting vitamin cream care, and I realized that even when applying body lotion yourself, you can never quite reach and cover your back thoroughly, so having someone apply cream care like this felt really nice. Once the treatment was done, they pressed the cream in and wiped it off with a towel.

Puan Massage has a friendly, clean image. Even on a weekday afternoon, there were a few other guests there for massages. It's in an accessible location that makes it easy to drop by casually, and it seemed like a lot of people come here for dates too. The vitamin cream care I chose within the 60-minute course was really great. Next time, I want to visit with more time to spare and try the stone massage with hot stones in the 90-minute course, haha.
