Cheonan café for friend catch-ups and financiers: Brewers Coffee

While deciding where to meet my friends, I visited Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch, a café in Sinbu-dong near Shinsegae Department Store.

Sinbu-dong has all sorts of places gathered together, from Shinsegae Department Store to Aladin and Daiso, so it is also great for making plans and meeting friends. We had not seen each other in a while, so we decided to eat something tasty, chat, and spend some relaxed time together. And after a meal, it has to be coffee, haha.

Looking for somewhere we could sit and talk at a leisurely pace, we visited Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch near Shinsegae Department Store. The atmosphere was more comfortable than I expected, and it was a lovely place to spend time chatting with friends.

Since we had not met in a while, we started sharing all the things we had not been able to talk about the moment we sat down. Over a cup of coffee and a good chat, time really flew by.

It had a clean, modern atmosphere. The deep-gray building looked quite upscale.

When I went inside, wow! The warm wood tones I love!! White tones!! And with black added in, it felt so sophisticated. The walls were decorated with various framed pictures and small objects, so it was fun to look around at the interior too.

Decaf coffee and a variety of financiers

We usually drink decaf Americanos, and they had decaf available too; it was on the nutty side. Along with coffee, there were lattes and signature drinks as well.

I have really been enjoying desserts lately. I love having a sweet dessert with coffee, so I tend to seek out cafés that have financiers.

Brewers Coffee, the Sinbu-dong café near Shinsegae Department Store, had so many options—from plain financiers to Nunettine financiers and Dubai chocolate financiers—that I spent ages wondering which ones to choose.

In the end, we picked a few to have with our coffee. They looked delicious from the start, so I kept looking at the desserts even before the coffee came out, haha.

Chatting over coffee and financiers

The coffee and financiers we ordered came out. After each choosing what we wanted to eat, we properly started our catch-up time with friends. Since we had not met in a while, we had so much to talk about as soon as we sat down.

We took sips of coffee, shared the financiers one by one, and talked for ages—from what had happened in the meantime to how life has been lately.

As expected, when I meet friends, I think the best time is simply sitting with a cup of coffee and talking like this, even without doing anything special. I love playing with my son too, but it is so nice to have occasional healing time with friends like this.

And the financiers went even better with coffee, bringing out their sweet, nutty flavor.

Alternating between the coffee's pleasantly bitter taste and the sweet financiers, I kept reaching for more. That day, we sat for a long time drinking coffee without even noticing the time passing.

The delicious coffee and desserts were wonderful, but it was even more enjoyable because I could chat comfortably with my friends after such a long time. ❤️ I am leaving Brewers Coffee, the Sinbu-dong café near Shinsegae Department Store, with some precious memories.
