Suyeong café calzone brunch with bridge views: Working Holiday Minrak

Whenever I go to Busan, I always want to visit a restaurant with a sea view, and this is one I found while looking! Let me introduce this ocean-view brunch café where you can take in Gwangan Bridge all at once! It is already famous for its view, so it was busy, too?!

Ocean views at the end of Minrak Hoe Center Street

Working Holiday Minrak (워킹홀리데이 민락) is in the Badamaru building at the very end of Minrak Hoe Center Street. Take the elevator up to the seventh floor and you will spot it right away!

The wide-open sea view that greets you as soon as you walk in ㅠㅠ The healing starts the moment you see it, seriously. There are sofa seats right in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows! It feels like the kind of place where coffee or wine would be even nicer, haha.

There is group seating, too!

I visited at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, and it was about half full, so I only photographed the empty seats. By the time we left at around 1:30 p.m., it was packed like this. If you want a seat with a better view, I recommend going around noon!

Working Holiday Minrak also has a terrace! Maybe because it is outdoors, but the view is even better... ♡ The larger seats were occupied, so I could not photograph them. Brunch while looking out at the sea beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows—it totally feels like being abroad, haha.

They have a wide variety of wines, too, haha.

There is a huge range of food and drinks: brunch, pasta and steak, Italian pizza, bakery items, coffee, non-coffee drinks, ade, alcohol, wine, and more!

Doesn't it look so delicious already?!!! A window seat opened up later, so we moved over, haha.

Calzone is an Italian folded pizza, baked with homemade ragù sauce and plenty of cheese inside pizza dough!

It comes with ragù sauce, mozzarella, kale, radicchio, romaine, cherry tomatoes, dill dressing, nuts, and lemon. Let’s cut it in half. Look at that ragù sauce when it opens up!! It was my first time trying calzone, and the chewy dough with that rich~ ragù sauce was, of course, the best, haha. I do not usually eat much salad, but it went so well with this that I kept having it alongside.

The salmon eggs Benedict comes piled high with smoked salmon!

You can choose sourdough or a croissant for the bread, and it is made with smoked salmon, tomato, avocado, arugula, a poached egg, red onion, mixed nuts, paprika powder, dill, mustard mayo, and hollandaise sauce. I chose sourdough! I was amazed that all these ingredients came together so harmoniously, haha. It is the perfect size to cut in half and share one each between two people!

You can really see that they did not skimp on the ingredients. It tastes clean and light.

The reason I recommend this combination is that the calzone has thick pizza dough and a rich sauce, while the salmon eggs Benedict is fresh, clean, and light, so they work beautifully together. I recommend it to anyone having trouble choosing from the many menu options, haha.

Lastly, I filled my eyes with the sea before leaving. I think the night view would be beautiful, too ㅠㅠ I recommend Working Holiday Minrak to anyone who wants a leisurely brunch with an unobstructed view of Gwangan Bridge, or is looking for a Gwangalli date spot!
