Inside Bueokgan Haeundae Branch: mood, seating and tablet ordering
Here's the interior of Bueokgan. As a self-proclaimed European restaurant, the inside really does feel like you've traveled to Europe and are dining at someone's European home. Overall it's a space that feels comfortable yet upscale. Kids' chairs are all fully equipped, so there's no worry about visiting as a family. Also, every table has a tablet, and you can check the menu and order conveniently through it.

What are the 3 dishes a regular always orders at Bueokgan?
Bueokgan offers a variety of à la carte, drinks and set menus. As someone who loves Bueokgan and has visited multiple branches, what would I truly recommend? First, here are the must-order menu items!
- Napa cabbage Caesar salad
- Kungpao chicken pilaf
- Pumpkin soup
These three are seriously must-try items! Honestly, the pizza and gnocchi are all delicious too, but I personally think these 3 are the guaranteed-win menu regardless of which branch you visit haha.

Kungpao chicken pilaf and napa cabbage Caesar salad
The kungpao chicken pilaf, with its slightly crispy texture like scorched rice, is one of my favorite menu items — my parents said it's really delicious too! I used to think I didn't like napa cabbage or salads much, but the first time I tried it at Bueokgan Haeundae, I was blown away and went looking for it everywhere for a while haha. It's genuinely delicious.

Truffle mushroom cream gnocchi, 22,000 won
What can I even say about the truffle mushroom cream gnocchi, thick and creamy with a bomb-load of mushrooms? There are seriously so many mushrooms in it, and combined with the gnocchi, it's one of those addictive dishes that makes you scrape up every last bit of the cream haha. Honestly, writing this out, I guess I'm adding it to the recommended list too (?) haha.

Why this regular keeps returning to Bueokgan Haeundae Branch
Every time I come, the interior is pretty, the vibe is great, the staff are kind, the place itself is beautiful, and it's reasonably priced with delicious food — so I just keep coming back. If you're looking for a good Western restaurant, brunch spot or dinner spot around Haeundae's Dalmaji-gil, this is one of the gems in my collection that I'd recommend without hesitation, haha.

Once you go, you'll fall for the vibe first and the taste second. For reference, there are also set menus, so visiting with 2-3 people and enjoying a set menu at a reasonable price seems like a good option too.
