Parking at The Sharp Adelis for Marine City Chinese, Busan: Bueokgan
In short
Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch is an ocean-view Chinese restaurant in Marine City, Haeundae, Busan. Stopping by after wedding-dress shopping in Gwangalli, the couple ordered the two-person lunch set (black vinegar tangsuyuk, beef brisket jjamppong and poached-egg pork belly ganjajang) plus a pork belly mapo tofu rice bowl, and mapped out the easily missed route from The Sharp Adelis commercial parking lot, which gives 1 hour 30 minutes free. The beef brisket jjamppong and black vinegar tangsuyuk stood out enough to earn 4 spoons.

Hello everyone~~ it's the Hyeon-on couple, spoons in hand for another Busan food spot today 🤍🤍

Today, since my fiancé and I were in Gwangalli looking for wedding outfits, we swung by a 'high-end ocean-view Chinese restaurant' nearby in Haeundae! // Just so you know upfront!! We visited this place with a Superchart discount, but since I'm introducing it to you all, I'll write an honest review as best I can (٩(•̤̀ᵕ•̤́๑)૭✧ //
Today's spot is a Haeundae (Marine City) restaurant in Busan, "Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch" (부엌간 차이니즈 마린시티점) ʢᵕᴗᵕʡ
Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch: hours and parking
- ✔️ Hours | Daily 11:00–22:00 (break time 15:30–17:00 / last order 20:30)
- ✔️ Parking | 90 minutes free parking supported (details below)
How to walk from The Sharp Adelis parking lot to the restaurant entrance
As mentioned above, Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch offers 90 minutes of free parking~~ but the route from the parking lot to the restaurant is a bit complicated, so let me lay it out in detail so you don't get confused like I did!

First, as shown in the photo above, enter through The Sharp Adelis entrance (commercial side) facing the Hanwha Resort, press the 'call' button at the gate, and say you're here for the '○○ commercial building' — the manager will open the gate for you!

One thing to watch out for! The parking lot is split into two (resident-only & commercial-only), so make sure you enter through the "commercial-only" parking entrance shown in the photo above~

Then you'll reach the parking lot shown in the photo (left); after parking, head to the entrance shown in the photo (right)! Note that this parking lot has another entrance on the opposite side too, so don't get them mixed up haha

Once you go through that entrance, you'll see the inside of the building shown in the photo (left) — walk straight ahead and exit through the door shown in the photo (right)! (You park in this building, but for the Chinese restaurant you need to exit this building and enter the neighboring one)

Keep the parking ticket you get in the lot, shown in the photo (left) — after you pay at the restaurant, get it stamped, and show it to the parking lot manager to apply free parking, haha. As shown in the photo (right), just walk straight left as soon as you exit the building!

Anyway, exit that building, walk straight left, and you'll find the entrance to Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch right next to Subyeon Choigo Pork Gukbap, as shown in the photo! Phew.. finally arrived lol. Writing all this out in such detail wore me out... but please give me some credit for laying it out so carefully so you don't get confused..👍

There's a dedicated elevator for Bueokgan here, and once you take it up to the 2nd floor, you'll see a sleek Chinese restaurant entrance like the photo above~
Uniquely, there's a handwashing station right at the entrance, which I loved! I washed my hands once going in and again on the way out after eating haha.
Where are the ocean-view seats? Inside the hall at Bueokgan Chinese

According to the restaurant's description, the space is about 330㎡ (100 pyeong), and sure enough, the hall is huge as soon as you walk in — I imagine even on busy days, the wait would be short or nonexistent. You can choose between a private room or the hall for dining, and the ✨️HOT PLACE✨️ here is the hall table by the window with an ocean view🌊!!
We ate at one of those tables, and it really gave off that 'oh, we're in Haeundae' feeling — glancing out at the wide-open blue sea🌊 throughout the meal put me in such a good mood haha.
Honest review: the 2-person lunch set and the pork belly mapo tofu rice bowl

We ordered the "ogyeop mapo tofu rice bowl" and the "2-person lunch set"! The lunch set is available weekdays 11am–3pm, and comes with black vinegar tangsuyuk plus a choice of 2 main dishes — we picked "poached-egg ogyeop ganjajang" and "ubsamgyeop beef jjamppong."

Ta-da-!!!! Doesn't the food look glossy and delicious! haha Let me give my honest thoughts dish by dish below~!
Beef brisket jjamppong (spicy seafood-style noodle soup)
This.. was honestly my favorite.. From the very first spoonful, the 'smoky wok flavor', 'umami', and 'deep richness' filled my mouth and I was genuinely moved..ㅠㅠ 。゚ʕ ฅ ฅ ʔ゚。 The real winning move here is the beef brisket — I'm not exaggerating, this was truly the best beef brisket I've ever had!
My fiancé and I fished out every last piece of brisket lol. The brisket had soaked up all the deep flavor of the jjamppong broth, and it wasn't tough at all — super, super tender ㅠ I'm getting hungry just writing about this brisket again...ㅠㅠ
Pork belly mapo tofu rice bowl
Big chunks of meat inside, with that distinctive mapo tofu aroma, and the tofu inside was so soft it left an impression, even though I couldn't tell what kind it was.. haha (Note: the seasoning is on the stronger side.)
Black vinegar tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork)
This one too.. noting it down.. my favorite.. First, I should say I'm normally the type who prefers old-school tangsuyuk over the glutinous rice flour kind, and dipping sauce over pouring sauce.. but this one is glutinous-rice tangsuyuk with sauce poured over it, and it still won me over completely...ㅠㅠ
The black vinegar sauce is truly the winning move — perfectly sweet and tangy with great balance, the kind of magic sauce that could make even a die-hard dip-sauce person admit that pour-over sauce can be good too..haha, does that make sense?
Poached-egg pork belly ganjajang (black bean noodles)
Since we tend to like stronger seasoning, the poached-egg ogyeop ganjajang was a bit mild for us, but overall it's a well-balanced, refined ganjajang with a clean taste. If you like your food on the lighter side, this ganjajang might actually suit your palate better~!! haha
Receipt review event and the full menu

As shown in the photo above, you can get free "eohyang mandu" (fish-fragrant dumplings) by writing a receipt review, so keep that in mind~ Also, note there are several clean baby chairs available in the hall.

Ordering is done via tablet at each table~ Please refer to the photos above for the menu! Also note, when ordering the "lunch set," we chose ubsamgyeop beef jjamppong and poached-egg ogyeop ganjajang as our main dishes, but "mala gosu jjamppong" is also an option!
The Hyeon-on couple's spoon score
So the spoons I'll award this restaurant....!!! . . . ✨️ 🥄🥄🥄🥄 ✨️ Here we go! 4 spoons ฅ( ̳• ·̫ • ̳ฅ)
Overall the balance was great and the meat had no off smell, which I loved — I think I'll find myself craving the beef brisket jjamppong from time to time..haha. And thanks to that amazing tangsuyuk sauce, I feel like I broke through my own bias against glutinous-rice tangsuyuk, so I officially declare this a 'must-eat Haeundae restaurant'~!!!
