Late-night ramyeon and Ppuringkle chicken at a Gireum PC café: ZERO100

Today I'm reviewing ZERO100 PC Gireum, a PC café near Gireum Station!

Where ZERO100 PC Gireum is and what the place feels like

ZERO100 PC Gireum is super close to Gireum Station. Really close, right?

You just head down to the basement of this building. It's been a while since I've been to a PC café, so I'm a little excited, haha!

From the moment I stepped in, the vibe felt totally different from the PC cafés I used to know! Konjijeuk-bap!? I'd seen posts here and there on YouTube saying PC cafés these days are more like restaurants than gaming spots, and now I'm seeing it for myself — pretty exciting.

The minors' entry hours are the same as before! Just a heads up.

They give you 3 extra hours if you write a review, so keep that in mind! Wow, 3 hours is really generous!?

Basement seats that still feel fresh, plus mechanical keyboards

PC cafés these days are really clean and fancy! Even though it's a basement, the place felt super pleasant.

There were quite a lot of seats. Each individual seat had its own headset, charger, and more — so convenient!

The keyboards were mechanical too, so the key feel was really satisfying. Not just the keyboards — the monitors and PC specs were great as well. I only played League of Legends, but I noticed people around me enjoying heavy, high-spec games with no problem.

You might wonder why a PC café would even have a 'menu,' but these days PC cafés are basically restaurants! You can order or request anything with one click right from your seat. And the food menu is genuinely huge... I photographed every single item and it was brutal.

Ramyeon (instant noodles)

You can assume every trendy Instagram ramyeon combo is here. Usually places like this slap on a premium and charge more, but here you can get it at a fairly reasonable price!

Really varied, right? But since we were going for late-night snacks today, we skipped the rice. Late-night eating means noodles!

Tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) is obviously a must-have too.

I didn't expect much from the 'snacks' section, but there was Ppuringkle fried chicken there.ㅜㅜ I couldn't resist, so I grabbed one for myself too. Is this a PC café or a chicken shop, ㅜㅜ

There wasn't a single menu category they half-assed;;; the owner must be pretty relentless.

Whew, that was really long. I think there are way more menu items than most actual restaurants. Honestly, isn't this basically a gimbap-restaurant-level menu at this point?

One game of LoL with buldak-egg-cheese and jjapaguri-egg-cheese ramyeon

After placing my order, I got in a proper round of gaming. The one downside here is you have to pick your food ahead of time. I used up basically all my gaming time just choosing ㅜㅜ. It had been a while since I'd played, so it felt a bit awkward at first, but it was so much fun. All the nostalgia came flooding back.

Right around when I finished, the food arrived. Perfect timing!

Buldak-egg-cheese ramyeon! This was so good it actually distracted me from the game. I figured a PC café would just throw together a quick instant ramyeon, but they clearly cooked it with real care and effort.

The Ppuringkle fried chicken was so good it could give bhc a run for its money. Eating it right when it arrived meant the cheese stretched like crazy — anything fresh-fried just tastes amazing.

I could tell from the staff wearing aprons that they took this seriously.

After eating well, naturally it's time for some go-stop (a card game), right!? And of course we finish with jjapaguri (black bean noodles).

This is jjapaguri-egg-cheese, and it was also incredibly good! I'd only ever seen it on Instagram and never actually tried it — who knew I'd finally eat it at a PC café.

And to finish it off, I couldn't resist ordering a nostalgic Pikachu tonkatsu (pork cutlet).

It had been a while since I'd gamed, so things felt a little awkward at first, but all those in-between moments got filled up with delicious food.
