Split end repair with a 6-step hair clinic: Juno Hair Cheonho Rodeo

Today I'm bringing you a hair clinic review from near Cheonho Station! Lately even daily treatments weren't helping — my hair was frizzy and the ends kept tangling, making it hard to even comb through ㅠㅠ I couldn't ignore it anymore, so I went to Juno Hair Cheonho Rodeo, known as one of the best Cheonho-dong hair salons for women's hair! Here's my honest review of my visit with designer Yeondu, who gave me glossy, silky hair with careful 1:1 personalized care ✨

Where is Juno Hair Cheonho Rodeo? Hours and parking

Juno Hair Cheonho Rodeo is at 46 Cheonho-daero157-gil, Gangdong-gu, Seoul, South Korea, 1F & 2F. It's about a 7-minute walk from Exit 5 of Cheonho Station toward Rodeo Street!

The storefront and the café-like interior at Juno Hair Cheonho Rodeo

Walking along the main strip of Cheonho Rodeo Street, a building with huge floor-to-ceiling windows catches your eye right away! It spans two big floors from 1F to 2F, so you can spot it from far away. I'd walked past it so many times on Cheonho Street that I couldn't miss it haha.

The price list was posted out front too, so I could check prices before even going in.

The moment I stepped inside, the interior really stood out! It had an overall vintage vibe, and with soft layered lighting on top, it felt like a cozy, upscale book café or an aesthetic café.

The long bar-table seats by the window, with a full view out onto Rodeo Street, felt exactly like sitting in a café.

I had my treatment on the 2nd floor, where a stylish bookshelf sat beside a long, well-spaced table — I could see myself reading a book during the treatment without getting bored at all!

The treatment seats were set up with sleek mirrors and plush, comfortable chairs, so the whole time I got treated I really felt pampered ✨

Hair condition before the clinic, and the coffee on arrival

Before the treatment, I had a detailed 1:1 consultation with designer Yeondu first.

As you can see from the photos... it had been a while since my perm and I hadn't done any special care, so the ends were badly split, all the nutrients were gone, and it was pure frizz ㅠㅠ The ends were so tangled my fingers barely went through.

Since my hair ends were so dry, she recommended getting hair clinic treatments regularly.

The coffee and snacks at Juno Hair are worth a mention

After the consultation, while I waited a bit, they kindly brought out drinks and snacks! An iced americano plus nutty, delicious cookies... what a nice touch 🤎 They actually had a real coffee machine like a café, and the coffee tasted amazing too — is this a hair salon or a café?! I loved every minute of it ☺️

What happens in the 6-step premium hair clinic?

Now for the main event — the clinic treatment led by designer Yeondu! It was done in a whopping 6 steps, super thoroughly.

1️⃣ Step 1: Custom shampoo — First, we moved to the shampoo station for a custom shampoo that cleanly washed out buildup from the hair and scalp.

2️⃣ Step 2: Hyaluronic acid moisture care — While my hair was still wet, she generously applied a hyaluronic acid moisture treatment that fills deep into dry, frizzy hair.

3️⃣ Step 3: Keratin protein care — This step adds keratin protein to damaged, hollowed-out hair for nutrition and elasticity! She let it absorb carefully for a long time.

4️⃣ Step 4: Cuticle-smoothing oil care — Once moisture and protein are locked in, you have to seal them so they don't escape, right? She applied an oil-care product that smooths the outer cuticle and balances moisture and oil.

5️⃣ Step 5: Moisture steamer — To help the products penetrate deep into the hair, she used a warm moisture steamer! I got to snack and relax comfortably under the warm steam.

6️⃣ Step 6: Protective coating shield care — Finally, back at the shampoo station, she finished with shield care that forms a protective coating on the hair's surface so the nutrients don't escape!

After the clinic: how did the split ends look?

Ta-da! It's finally done!!! 👏🎉 My hair was clearly shinier than before! Running my hand through it went smoothly with zero snagging, and the hair itself had a glossy shimmer — I was seriously so satisfied!

It wasn't just smooth on the surface — moisture and protein were packed all the way inside, so my hair felt noticeably springier and had more weight to it. At the end, designer Yeondu even styled it beautifully with a blow-dry, and I loved it 🥹💚

Thanks to designer Yeondu, who took care of my hair concerns so kindly and carefully, and to the shampoo assistant who gave me such a refreshing wash, I left in a completely different mood! Even now I'm touching my softer hair as I type this. So satisfied~~~ hahaha 🥰
