I've been growing my hair out for a while now and I love the length, but the ends were bugging me a lot. They looked split and frizzy, and I knew I couldn't leave it like that. I could just tie it up in a bun, but I really hate having damaged hair. Plus I kind of wanted a style change too, so I heard there was a salon near Gwanggyo Central Station that's great at cutting, and I went to check it out haha.

How to reach the 8th floor of SK View Lake Tower
It can be confusing, so follow along! From the underground parking lot, head up to the 1st floor!
If you walk straight ahead with this elevator at your back
you'll see a place called Ham Ham Pang Pang. Right in front of it
you'll see the entrance to the A Business Tower — that's the 8th floor! haha
On the 8th floor you'll see an academy — turn right for Yuwolae Mijangwon
And then you've arrived at Yuwolae Mijangwon haha

How much is a cut at Yuwolae Mijangwon?
Looking at the menu posted near the entrance of Yuwolae Mijangwon, the cut prices were broken down by staff level.
It was broken down into director cut (women) from ₩35,000, manager cut ₩33,000, and team leader cut ₩30,000, plus various perm and color options. Perms ranged from regular perms to volume magic straightening and digital perms, and colors included full color, root color, bleach and more. I really liked that they posted these official prices clearly haha.
Inside the salon, and is there tea service?
Yuwolae Mijangwon Suwon Gwanggyo Branch impressed me with its spacious interior. The white-toned decor added a cozy feel.
On one side there was a row of shampoo chairs — brown leather ones that looked really comfortable.

Just so you know, tea service is not provided!
They said it's so they can focus on high-quality service, and honestly I was fine with that — especially since it showed in the results.
Keeping the length, trimming only damaged ends: the tassel cut consultation
Alright, let's get to the haircut~ Today at Yuwolae Mijangwon, designer Lara helped me out! During the consultation, I explained in detail about my damaged ends. I asked her to keep the length as much as possible while neatly trimming only the damaged parts, and she carefully checked my hair condition and pinpointed exactly how much needed to be cut. I'd heard this place is especially good at tassel cuts, so I asked for something light that would keep the texture alive.
She really gave me a gorgeous result.
Her scissor work was so careful and precise that I felt confident throughout the whole process. She boldly trimmed off the damaged ends while keeping as much of the overall length as possible. She was also very meticulous about where she placed the layers, so it didn't look thinned out but still had a natural, cascading layered feel.
I was really, really satisfied~~ She kept checking with me in the mirror along the way, so it felt comfortable and collaborative the whole time.
How did the tassel cut turn out?
After the final blow-dry, when I checked the mirror, it was really transformed.
Once the damaged-looking ends were cleaned up, my whole head of hair looked so much healthier.
Best of all, the layers fell naturally so it didn't look heavy anymore — it had a lighter overall impression, which I loved most. I guess there's a reason people say this place is good at cutting. Every detail was just different.

The building was clean and the facilities felt premium, so overall this was a highly satisfying visit. I'd strongly recommend Yuwolae Mijangwon, especially to those worried about damaged hair, or anyone wanting a cut with natural layers.
I think I'll be coming back here next time I need a trim too.
