Sinheung Station Korean BBQ lunch set, tofu & mushrooms: Musoettuk
In short
Musoettuk Samgyeop Sinheung Station Branch (무쇠뚝삼겹) is a Korean BBQ restaurant near Exit 3 of Sinheung Station in Sujeong-gu, Seongnam, where staff grill the pork belly for you. The writer visited at 12 noon on a weekend, ordered the Musoettuk 2-person set and added tofu and mushrooms, and liked the Sunjin Pork flavor, the aged kimchi and wild minari side dishes, and the convenient public parking. Because nobody has to man the grill and everyone can focus on talking, Musoettuk Samgyeop is worth considering for a get-together or company dinner near Sinheung Station.

There are so many BBQ restaurants around Sinheung Station in Seongnam these days that a lot of you probably struggle to pick one. I visited Musoettuk Samgyeop Sinheung Station Branch (무쇠뚝삼겹 신흥역점), about a 5-minute walk from Exit 3 of Sinheung Station. It's a name you run into sooner or later when searching for good pork belly in Seongnam, so I wanted to see for myself what it's like.
Where is Musoettuk Samgyeop Sinheung Station Branch, and where do you park?
The restaurant is at 134 Simin-ro, Sujeong-gu, Seongnam, Gyeonggi, South Korea (1st floor), with public parking lots right next door and across the street. So, location first: 134 Simin-ro, Sujeong-gu, Seongnam, 1st floor.

Sinheung Station and Lotte Cinema are close by, so it was fairly easy to find. With public parking lots next to the restaurant and across the street, drivers shouldn't have to worry much about parking. We went at 12 on a weekend and parking was roomier than I expected.

Opening hours and break time
Musoettuk Samgyeop Sinheung Station Branch is open daily from 11:30 to 23:00, all year round. Apparently the cast of Amazing Saturday (놀토) has visited too!

Disposable aprons are set out near the entrance, so we could eat comfortably without worrying about our clothes.

On weekdays there's a break time from 14:30 to 16:30, so I'd recommend checking the time before you go.
Musoettuk menu: sets and à la carte
The menu at Musoettuk Samgyeop Sinheung Station Branch has both set menus and à la carte options.

The sets are a 2-person set with both pork belly and pork neck, and a 3–4 person set, so it's easy to choose by group size. À la carte, you can order pork belly, pork neck, gochujang pork belly (spicy marinated), pork jowl and more.
Side menu: doenjang sulbap is the signature
Among the sides, doenjang sulbap (soybean paste rice) is presented as the signature. It was a solid pairing with the meat. There are also cheese steamed egg and kimchi noodle soup, so pick whatever suits your taste.

We ordered the Musoettuk 2-person set and added tofu and mushrooms.
Do you grill the meat yourself at Musoettuk?
The biggest feature of Musoettuk Samgyeop Sinheung Station Branch is that you don't have to grill it yourself.

Staff pre-grill the meat and bring it to the table, then finish grilling it in a separate area, so it's a setup that lets you focus on talking with your group.

When you're catching up with people you haven't seen in a while, you often miss the right moment to flip the meat. Not having that burden makes this a decent option if you're looking for pork belly in Seongnam. And I do think the meat tasted better because they use Sunjin Pork (선진포크).
Banchan: domestic aged kimchi and wild minari
The banchan (side dishes) include domestic aged kimchi and wild minari (water dropwort), which helped cut the richness of the pork belly.

Is it a good spot for group meals near Sinheung Station?
Overall, with the staff-grilled style, easy access and convenient parking, I thought Musoettuk Samgyeop Sinheung Station Branch is worth considering for a get-together or company dinner.

If you're looking for pork belly in Seongnam or a BBQ place near Sinheung Station, I hope this is useful. You can also check the restaurant's Instagram for news and event info.
