Today I visited Bueokgan Suwan Branch, one of the top Italian restaurants in Suwan-district! Bueokgan is already well known for both taste and visuals, and it's popular for dates and gatherings alike. They have high chairs and safe kids' tableware, so families with children can also eat comfortably there~

Hours and parking at Bueokgan Suwan Branch

Bueokgan Suwan Branch is open daily from 11:30 to 21:00, with a break time from 15:00 to 17:00. Lunch last order is 14:30, dinner last order is 20:20, so plan your visit accordingly. Parking isn't very spacious, but you can use street parking in the alleys around the restaurant.

An Italian-forest-themed brunch restaurant

Among the Bueokgan branches with an Italian-forest concept, the Suwan branch is said to have the most devoted following. Alongside various pastas, pizzas and risottos, they have popular items like pumpkin soup and sweet potato fries. We ordered these four menu items today~

A must-order side: sweet potato fries

The first dish to arrive was one of the must-order sides at Bueokgan: sweet potato fries! I've seen plenty of french fries, but it's been a while since I had sweet potato fries of this quality. Pleasantly sweet, crisp outside and soft inside, and a great match with the accompanying sauces. This is a must-order if you visit Bueokgan Suwan Branch.

Abalone cream risotto

Next up was a dish that looks delicious just from its visuals — abalone cream risotto! A rich abalone liver sauce, savory cream, the harmony of abalone and clam meat, plus crispy fried enoki mushrooms on top — a combination that couldn't possibly be anything less than delicious~

The most popular pizza: basil margherita

Next was the basil margherita pizza! A light pizza with a basil pesto base and roasted tomatoes, said to be the most popular of the several pizzas at Bueokgan Suwan Branch. I've enjoyed the arugula prosciutto pizza here before, but the basil margherita has its own charm thanks to the fragrant basil.

Today's number one: seafood tomato pasta

The last dish was the one that got the best reaction and the most praise today — seafood tomato pasta~ A tomato sauce simmered for a long time, loaded with shrimp and baby clams. The taste of the tomato combined with the refreshing flavor of the shrimp and clams was truly impossible not to love..!!

There may be a wait on weekends

The restaurant isn't huge, but it's so popular that there can be a wait on weekends. The exterior is very pretty, and you can take a short walk around the area while waiting, so the time apparently passes quickly. Given how good the food quality is at Bueokgan Suwan Branch, a bit of waiting seems worth it!

Bueokgan Suwan Branch really nails pasta, pizza and risotto, but the pizza dough especially is so savory and has such a great texture that I kept reaching for more. This was a place where you could really feel the charm of wood-fired pizza.

We clearly ordered a lot of food, but chatting away after not seeing each other in a while, it disappeared in no time..?? Good food to eat, little stories to share — it was such a happy day~

Floor-to-ceiling windows and a European facade

The restaurant is designed with floor-to-ceiling windows so the lush green trees of the park next door are visible in full, and the front facade uses a large awning and brick to create a leisurely European-restaurant mood for brunch. The interior is furnished with colorful pieces from Switzerland's Vitra, Sweden's Artek, and Louis Poulsen lighting, making for a really great atmosphere at Bueokgan Suwan Branch.
