Two-floor Uiwang outlet café with high chairs: Jeong Jiyoung Coffee

It had been a while since I went to the Uiwang Lotte Outlet, and so many new stores had popped up — Outback, Shake Shack, and even Jeong Jiyoung Coffee! Finally I get to taste the Jeong Jiyoung coffee I drank in Suwon's Haenggung-dong, right here in Uiwang 🎊

Where is Jeong Jiyoung Coffee Roasters in Uiwang, and how do you get there?

Jeong Jiyoung Coffee Roasters Uiwang branch is on the 3rd floor of Lotte Premium Outlet Uiwang. There are two ways to get to the store.

You know the outdoor walking path at the Uiwang Lotte Outlet, right? Follow the outdoor path all the way up to the 3rd floor and the Jeong Jiyoung Coffee store is right there. If you're bringing a stroller, this is the route to take.

If you go inside the Taste Road building and take the escalator instead, you'll need to leave the stroller next to the escalator and go up. Of course, if it's a portable stroller you can fold up, you can just carry it with you.

The latte that started at the Haenggung-dong original shop in Suwon

I first visited Jeong Jiyoung Coffee Roasters in Suwon's Haenggung-dong back in 2019, and after tasting the coffee I could clearly feel, "Wow, this place is a latte spot!" I actually found a post I wrote about that visit back then, haha.

The outdoor rooftop seats at the Suwon original store are a real photo hotspot — I wonder if it still looks the same? I'm such an Anyang homebody that I haven't been to Suwon in ages, hahaha. I filled that longing at Jeong Jiyoung Coffee Roasters, a great coffee spot in Uiwang!

The Jeong Jiyoung Coffee Roasters Uiwang store has high ceilings and a duplex layout, and when you go up the stairs to the 2nd floor,

you can drink your coffee while looking at lush greenery outside, which is why this Uiwang Premium Outlet spot has been consistently loved since it opened. There are also bar seats, great for drinking coffee solo.

Coconut latte, Summer Latte and the dessert menu

This is the iced latte I ordered and drank on my last visit, but this time I wanted to try the coconut latte.

Apparently it's sold 1.11 million cups and even has a patent, which made me even more curious, haha.

With a little regret over the end of summer, I also ordered the Summer Latte.

For dessert at this Uiwang café, besides the Basque cheesecake, they also sell a fruit sando, which paired with a clean americano makes for a pretty filling meal :)

How to drink the Summer Latte and the coconut latte

For the Summer Latte topped with ice cream, eat some of the ice cream first, then drink it together with the latte.

For the coconut latte, mix it well before drinking. The smooth texture of coconut going down really pairs well with the coffee, and the slightly rich, heavy feeling is nicely balanced by the bitter coffee!

The coffee is so good that, combined with the ice cream, the coffee flavor that lands on my tongue feels really rich. At Jeong Jiyoung Coffee Roasters, a great coffee spot in Uiwang, you truly cannot go wrong with the latte, everyone! 📣

Getting to enjoy Suwon's number one coffee, Jeong Jiyoung Coffee Roasters, as a great café at the Uiwang Premium Outlet is truly lucky. Now that I have two kids, my chances of visiting Suwon's Haenggung-dong keep shrinking, so just when I was starting to miss the Jeong Jiyoung coffee I first tasted back in 2019, how happy I was to rediscover Jeong Jiyoung Coffee Roasters as a great coffee spot in Uiwang!! 🍀
